Radio station help

Right East Dulwich, I need some help. Following another dispute in the car this morning on the way to Furniture Village I need to know what radio station I should be listening to.

I am 33 and I think that is a difficult age for radio listening.

I am told by my girlfriend that I am too young to be listening to Magic / Heart and the constant loop of Adele and Dido songs on repeat.....but I insist she is too old to be listening to Capital / Radio 1 more favoured by teenagers.

So what is the solution.....?

LBC is listened to by mostly men from 30 - 55 R4 is pretty good too

Radio 2 in the week, except from 11am to 12 when it's over to Kiss for an hour of old school. Then after 5pm Absolute for a bit.

XFM per chance. I am 41 and strictly R2

Radio 4 in the morning, like a grown up, then after 2pm over to Planet Rock on DAB or computer.

Radio four in the morning .., with the option of switching to capital when humphreya et al get too bombastic. Johnny vaughn is actuslly very funny and a breath of fresh air .LBC warning : it's the radio equivalent of the daily mail. Lots of closed minds, open mouths and celebration of ignorance. Avoid .

Absolute Radio. Tends to play the most songs I know the words to. I don't think they own a song released in the last 10 years.

Steve, I'm a lot older than you and thought I'd reached a very difficult age for radio listening. However I overcame this by applying drops of olive oil to my ear and having it syringed last week. Much easier now. Hope this helps.

I like a bit of James O'B - as long as he isn't on one of his tedious liberalist soap boxes. LBC/BBC London/R4 for me.

Radio 2 plays a good mix of music and they have interesting discussions on their too.

Or if you are into rock/indie music you could also check out XFM which is 104.9 FM.
