I must say the idea of the book has put me right off ever reading it.

900 pages of sexual tension caused by the glimpse of lace doily sounds as dreary as it gets.

Condense it into a nice sunday night 2 parter and throw in a bit of ms Po?sy and some trenches stiff upper lip wot, and I'm happy with that.

Thought it was rather good (though not a patch on the Edge of Darkness TV on demand we're watching at the mo).

    • I'm going to Paris with friends, staying in the 3rd arrondissement. I used to go a lot but that was ages ago so wondered if anyone has any 'insider tips'? We are interested in small art galleries, independent shops, good value cafes and restaurants that may not feature in all the many online articles or guides, thanks!
    • Hi, My two years old nephew is a complete bookworm and we are looking for more books for him. Is anyone selling or giving away any books please?    Thank you.
    • I think you'll find that there are more than just 'quite a lot' involved with firework enjoyment. I'm not one of those, but I do not begrudge the enjoyment of others.
    • Elliot built alcove cupboards and shelves in our lounge room earlier this week. SO happy with them, the quality of joinery is superb and elliot was very communicative with me about checking things and confirming details. Clean and tidy aswell (even brought his own kettle!).    Would definitely recommend for any carpentry or joinery.
