Whilst walking along a coastal path in Cornwall last weekend I noticed that the good berghers of that wondrous county had taken to placing their canine turdage in plastic bags before hoying them into nearby trees. I couldnt quite grasp the peculiar mentality that would have you pick up your dogs crap, place it in a carrier bag and then chuck it in a bush. Me and the missus had fun spotting the blighters in amongst gorse and dangling from branches though. Odd people....the Cornish, not us. :))

Used to happen in Wales to. Never really knew why.

@Saffron

Your suggesting reuniting the dog's dropping with its owners via their letterbox reminds me of what one of my exes did to a local Pizza Hut near our uni. Him and his mates got tired of getting olives they didn't order. They took an envelope full of the olives they'd picked off their pizzas and returned them to the shop to see how the owner liked taking delivery of olives he didn't want. Still makes me laugh now.

And am I alone in revulsing at soft brown shit on the pavement, but having to turn my back on people who are picking up after their dog's mess with one of those little plastic bags? Think how warm it still is:(

    • Sue. You really don’t have to keep saying about the electoral system    a) we all know about it b) it doesn’t matter    FPTP is the system we have always had and hopefully we will get rid of it someday but it is what it is    when anyone suggests changing the system Corbyn is right there at the front of the queue to prevent it   so its pointless him or any of supporters complaining about it    the evidence you want is the result of the elections. You can’t have clearer evidence.
    • Has anyone from the school commented? Have they said why? Is it a fresh start? Is it that Grove in the name may have connotations of wealth and they want to attract more applicants from a wider area? Is that it currently is linked to the DKH Estate?
    • As you quite rightly say a sample of 500 is extremely  small. (actually unrepresentative in the scheme of things) Now corbyn has his own party or should that be Party, it'll be interesting to see if it is merely a "think tank" or if it contests seats and then if they win any and if they chase currently held seats by Labour. It'll be even more amusing if it unseats current Labour Ministers though.
