Got up late, as usual.

Checked and dealt with emails.

Rode motorcycle to Barnes to see some lying client.

Rode back via Sainsbury's shopping and visit to Post office, both in Clapham because motorcycle park round the corner made it convenient to do so there.

Thought, "All that money doing out the post office in Clapham and the queue's still out the door."

Rode home, did heaps of paperwork while half watching Gosford Park and dealing with post.

Thought, "God it's great being self-employed."

Thought.

Thinking.

Pressing "Post Message".

Ooooh I had a wonderful day!

Woke up and tidied house.

Made porridge with strawberries and mixed seeds - lots of brownie points as my breakfast for the last three weeks has been a pain au chocolat in Victoria Station

Had a fantastic chat with someone which really sorted some big issues out in my head

Finally stopped procrastinating and did half of my course homework (god I feel like I'm at school again).

Giving myself a big gold star today!

Finished of a wedding book layout.

Met with my printer to review a job.

Bravely picked up the phone and made an appointment with the dentist.

Cycled to RAK studios in St.Johns Wood to see a client (and back).

Hung two pictures in the living room that I'd been meaning to do for ages.

Decided to go and see a friend in Fordcombe, Kent. Bought organic cocoa and honey to drink after planned walk there. Seethed when the train to E Croydon had to return due to some signalling problem. Got refund (the man was there). Went to Dulwich Library and got travelogues out instead.

Rang council over dog dirt signs and tree planting. Rang Coop over its increasingly crappy shop in FHR. Watched Sebastiane then Victoria Wood. (Sublime to ridiculous actually fits, here.)

Cleaned sink with bicarb of soda. Checked on wormery worms (more of them, less paper.) Spent too much time in between in EDF!

Well done Annaj, have you got a photo to show us?

Took an early 7.15 8.0am constitutional walk with an ex business partner in Dulwich park. Discovered that my shelving system had pulled out four plugs and screws and was leaninig out 6 inches from the wall, then decanted all the lever arch files on to the floor. Took car to the wash and felt better afterwards. Asda to buy basics not crowded goody goody. Lady friend arrived I signed her reference form went to bed had an orgasm she had two I bathed her then got in after she vacated it, dropped her off at the station. Now off to swim at Pulse having forummed for an hour.

Yep this was what I consider to be a smug Friday!;-)

Hmmmmmm got up up admired the beautiful sunny day & remembered to take it easy as still on Penicyllin for viral infection...

Sent email to the Mrs in Oz

Put some washing on

Juiced 3 carrots & 3 oranges with a knobble of ginger & then drank it slowly

Brief MSN with the Mrs before her system crashed.... leaving me waiting

Uncluttered my bedroom window sill & dusted, demoulded & spayed with "No More Spiders" spray

Dusted lampshade then hoovered it for a 2nd opinion

Found the floor in my bedroom ~ Hurrah !!!

MSN back & running & had words with the Mrs

& then we Skyped..... but boo it has just crashed in Oz again & now she is offline :'(

Sooooooooooooo back to tidying/hoovering/taking it easy NOT before returning to work on Tues

Went to the Brick lane market at 7.0am bought a hot chocolate and ate a buttered bagel. Bought fruits and meat and a can of pledge, the cleaner said she couldn't wring anymore from the original.

found Life on Earth on the box fell asleep, woke in time for breakfast, cooked super bacon from peckham farmers market with some 'chestnut' mushrooms and a fried egg with home made bread. 3 hours later still feeling bloated.

    • Don't think there'll be much glee around today with what's happened in Poland and France 😕
    • Sounds a horrible, random attack, quite possibly for social media clicks, or some kind of sick initiation into goodness knows what - it is reported they were filming the incident. I do not really doubt that any of this is true. Perhaps the friend who reported it elsewhere does not want to be identifiable? There has been an emerging issue with different types of anti-social teenage/ young adult behaviour on the Rye this summer and this latest incident indicates a tipping point into something much nastier. The park should be a safe and enjoyable space for all.
