Yes, I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone and their new additions. I'm sure baby Arlo (born 25 December) and I will be up to venturing out soon. The cafe in Peckham Rye park is supposed to be very baby friendly, maybe a daytime meet up there at some point would be good?

Yes, the cafe is nice although not sure how many buggies it would fit in one go! Also the dish & spoon is very good in Nunhead. I'm up for meeting again soon, still don't have a little one to bring along but I'm hoping anyday now!

Ramble and CharDale, hope Arlo and Ottilie are doing well!

Hi all,

I was told about this group by my nct teacher so have just been reading through all the past posts.

Am rather slower on the uptake than most of you as i'm due with my first on 23rd jan (so not long to go now) but would be keen to meet some new(and experienced)mummies in the ED and surrounding area once the little one arrives in the coming weeks.

I've also requested to join the FB group and i'll keep a look out for details of any future meet ups.

sorry to intrude but we thought you might be intersted in a Nearly New Sale we are having this Saturday, 9th Feb, 11.30-3.30. There will be lots of good quality clothes (inc good brands), toys, equipment, books, etc as well as cakes by a professional!


It is in a private house at 24 Sansom Street, se5 7re.

I am another late responder. I had a baby girl in January, and would like to meet other new mums in east dulwich. I also don't have a Facebook account, so if anyone could let me know about future meet ups that would be great.

And another late-comer... I had my second (a little girl to join my toddler boy) in early January and now that I'm out of the newborn fog (ish!) I'm keen to get out and about again with my double buggy (fondly known as the tractor). It would be lovely to meet some more local mummies and babies. I've requested to join the FB group and hope to meet some of you soon,

      Contact admin? If you click on your name, they are showing as having been posted in the For Sale section, but as you say, they are not there. Could you have accidentally deleted them?

      Just a quick post to say that my restaurant reviews column is now one year old. There are 45 reviews here* - mostly of local places (some sadly now defunct, others thriving). There are a couple of recipes from a period when I couldn't afford to eat out, a couple of moans about my health when I couldn't eat out on doctor's orders and a couple of reviews beyond our manor. But the main thing is that it is a free, useful guide to local dining and, I hope, an entertaining read. You can, of course, pay to subscribe or follow for free to get the reviews directly into your inbox as I don't want to spam EDF with every review (doctor says I'm not allowed spam anyway). The pictures below come from my two most popular reviews - Persepolis (new SE22 spin-off opening soon) and Norbert's, a great addition to East Dulwich. Please have a read and please consider subscribing.       I'd like to recommend Andy - came out very last minute to help us with a rental property that was having plumbing issues. We couldn't source the problem but Andy was able to find it / fix it easily & took the stress out of the problem.       If you're looking for a reasonably priced gym, there are a couple of PureGyms not too far away in Camberwell and Peckham. They're less than £20 a month with no joining fee. If you're looking to get fitter and / or lose weight, and you don't have any mobility issues, then download the coach to 5k app and start running. It's by far the easiest, quickest and cheapest way to improve your cardiovascular fitness and it's great for clearing your head!
