Like The Dream Machine used to ..... R.I.P. :(

There used to be a cinema but people didn't attend so it became an Indian Temple, then it became a factory, then it was pulled down and now there are flats.

Also, there used to be an electrical shop, but trade was not very good owing to DIY stores, so it closed down.

Wherever it was in ED/WD or willage, but able to walk to access or to do short driving to get there.

Food/restaurant:

- a "Paul" bakery with a restaurant/ Thea room

- a proper JAPANESE (fresh and yummy)

- A marrocan restaurant

- a local McDo

- a M&S (as waitrose deliver in all Dulwich now)

- a real/ good quality tapas bar

- a good Mexican restaurant

- a new wine bar with cheese and charcuterie board at any time in the day if the green&wine will close as I've read on this forum

Shops:

- Baby/kids GAP, eventually an adult one

- Office shoes

- Hobbs/french connection/vero moda/oasis store

- A body shop or Occitane en Provence

- a Tikka Maxx with home department

- Another shoes shop more fashion for adults and kids

- Boots

- H&M for kids and adults

- A house of fraser or John lewis.

Nice B&B and/or boutique hotel.

    • You don't need a gym to lose 10kg. Get a set of dumbbells and maybe a resistance band, find a HIIT channel you like on youtube and workout in your room, eat clean and go out every day. £115/mo is ridiculous. I thought they were supposed to be about £20 to £30 and most people give up come February anyway.
    • Point taken..I go 3-4 times a week and have done every week for several years however £115 a month is still a lot of money for many people (myself included) for a 'non essential' One can if one wishes excersise by running or Cycling, swimming once in a while. Gym membership IS a luxury...
    • Tawny owls are hooting in Dawsons Heights very near me. But very elusive birds. Sadly now on the amber list.  I have heard the owls every night for the past couple of weeks  It is good to know they are here. They are quite loud so I think they are very near. I have never seen an owl in the wild before and wish I  could  see them.
