Anytime I admit to not knowing where a town/city/river/other geographical feature (eg oxbow lake) is, my mother looks at me with undisguised puzzlement and utters the following words- "But you've got an A Level Geography!"*

Ooooh I got 122 for USA, and very low score for Europe... Hmm

Well as I am just going to tour round USA at least I know I won't get lost.

It's the new European countries that got me a low score in the Europe one.

That is a dangerous website, I could stop doing lots of work for this!

Now for the UK one.

Ok, gave up on Europe in a strop after I got the first 3 wrong.

Not even trying USA.

Counties one cheats, or at least is very sensitive. It rejected Greater London three times and took points off each time then accepted it in the same (correct) place. Also gave up in a strop.

I'm bad at geography ok? But good at other stuff.

    • "In Southwark, you can recycle plastic plant pots at home in your main recycling bin, provided they are not black, as black plastic is often not detected by recycling machinery. Clean, rigid plastic pots (tubs/trays) are accepted, but soft plastic pots should be taken to a local supermarket drop-off point" B&Q take as well https://www.diy.com/responsible-business/community/community-re-use (I've just found much of this out) Or you can make little men
    • Can they be recycled? I didn't know that. I've tried to give them away in the past. One community garden took a load one year, but I haven't had much luck otherwise. People are probably trying to get rid of their own 🤣 I don't know why nurseries don't use biodegradable pots, but I suppose it's because they would biodegrade before the plant reached the plant centre/retailer and then the gardener at the end of the chain.
