someone stole my scooter's wing mirrors

A most serious offence has taken place in East Dulwich, someone has stolen my scooter's wing mirrors. They're chrome, slightly rusty and look like this:

if you see them or get offered them on the cheap da'an the pub please let me know

What is ED coming to? Veg boxes being nicked, dodgy beggars, cats being stolen and turned into coats, Snorky left AND THEN CAME BACK and now this.

Losing both wing mirrors in a light spill is unusual.

So in such circumstances, stealing both from a fellow two-wheeler would just be plain greedy.

What is the point?! Keep your eye out for an old ET2/ET4 with suspiciously shiny, new round chrome mirrors, instead of the old standard plastic oval ones.

Thats mental...the other morning i walked out of my house to find my scooter gone but a pair of wing mirrors left on the driveway...cheeky buggers !

I Swear to God if they cant nick the whole bike they take it bit by bit..... bastards.... It outrages me. Get yourself a cheap cover & bungee it over the bike in future makes it harder for them to get to your appendages. I had me tax disc nicked from the holder 2 days after I bought it, I had to go all the way to Wimbledon to get a duplicate.

Did you report it to the police? It may be a waste of time as far as getting them back is concerned but if everyone reported stuff the police would have more reason to say to government WE NEED MORE TIME TO DEAL WITH CRIME AND STOP PISSING ABOUT ON PAPERWORK. ;)

I did report it to the police yes, mainly because if I didn't report it, and no one else reported small incidents they'd think there was no crime going on and cut back on resources. Anyway I think going to start using a cover all the time on the bike from now on.

Its not an ET4 but off a GT125/200 - I had the same happen. In Clapham if it makes you feel better.
