*Oh DM - no no no - offers old (and genuine) Estonian flu cure - soak your socks in vodka before putting them on and then go to bed... honestly. The Estonians are all a bit mad though - love them to bits, but barking - its the 22 hours of daylight I think*

Wakes from delirious dream, hot and soaked in perspiration ... or can that be alcohol and Red Bull I smell???

Thinks to self "My toes feel strangely sticky."

Whimpers "Pass the smelling salts Mr Keef, Michael appears to be sucking my socks..."

Passes out in a dramatic manner...

Thinks to self "Gosh I do look tiny today down there on that chaise," as my spirit leaves my body and floats around the room (I feel like death)

    • Me too.   It has been an abundant year for apples, grapes, rosehips and hawthorn berries.
    • Jason did a brilliant job replastering my loft bedroom. It had been done badly before, but he sorted everything out and even put in new joists where they were needed. He came across a few worrying things along the way but explained them clearly, put my mind at rest, and fixed them without any drama. He turned up when he said he would, finished on time, and kept everything tidy. Really friendly, really helpful, and the room looks fantastic now. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!
    • Well if not housing with a bit of social attached, perhaps a local supermarket or a restaurant/ chain food place. Can’t think of anything else  that would for the bill unless a private dentist or even something like Tessa Jewel to serve that section. Pity that skate park might go - guys and gals put so  much work into it but have to  move with times. Community centre?  Anyone have any other ideas? Nice to explore….. Meant Jowel - not Jewel…
    • I have noticed this year that those plants of mine that 'berry' have berry-ed up excessively this year, particularly the mahonia. Old wives tales suggest this would suggest a harsh winter is in the offing - it will be interesting to see if this saying bears fruit (see what I've done there?).
