*Over here Keef, just been giving the lovely Dulwich Mum a massage, the poor girl's been so busy of late, I've got to get her to relax more so perhaps we'll be a little quieter today after yesterday's partying, it is the quiet room after all, got to let the lady have her beauty sleep*

*Ronnie played some fabulous stuff, more slide playing than ever and is a revelation now he's sobered up somewhat*

*Charlie's the best and most sartorially elegant rock n'roll drummer on the planet*

*And how Sir Michael Philip Jagger does what he does at 64 is beyond comprehension*

*Horn section the business - ooh Bobby Keyes is a blast*

*Backing singers wonderful, swoon swoon special mention for Lisa Fischer*

*Ooh looks like the sun is over the yard arm, fancy a pint?*

*Wakes up bleary eyed, feels terrible from caffiene overdose*

*Ten mile race! Shudders at the thought, rather you than me darling*

*Pours large glasses of fresh orange & mango juice*

*Offers bowls of oat meal with lots of fresh fruits and yogurt round to anyone who wants*

*Nice healthy breakfast, should put some energy back for the day ahead*

*Totters back into the quiet room. Pulls arm chair into new position (with back to the wall). Looks around in horror.*


*Mutters "Filthy b*s****s" quietly to self and looks around suspiciously.*


*Takes can of pepper spray from enormous handbag and places on coffee table beside chair.*

    • I don't know how it works now but my late parents had little money when they were retired (just state pension and they rented their flat) and they used to take their cat to the Blue Cross (In Victoria if I remember correctly) where treatment was free for those who could'nt afford a private vet. I sincerely hope similar is available still because for many elderly their pet is their main source of comfort and company.  
    • In a couple of places locally, I have come across this. I am fairly sure that they attempt to do the bill in their head. If you just say , “no, I think it’s x” they start again and get to an agreeable number, or find a calculator. I don’t think it’s a malicious attempt to swindle people. Just not great arithmetic.
    • There are excellent charities like the Greenwich Wildlife Network who will help if you report any concerns with local wildlife. Foxes are wonderful creatures who had been forced into our town and cities and are just doing their best to survive, we should take care of them when we can. 
    • Like I thought… prob like that for most of the day.. especially after people had walked their dogs, with friends, relatives  kids…
