Cannot recommend Roger enough. He was able to attend to a mouse sighting my tenants reported very quickly. He dealt with the problem and the tenants cannot speak highly enough of him! Great service and offers an 18 month guarantee if the critters reappear. Great service!

I can 100% recommend Roger. He was quick to respond and even came back when we continued to have mouse issues in our old Victorian house. If you're thinking supporting a local family business with a great reputation, look no further. I have recommended him to numerous neighbours and friends in the area.

Another recommendation from me. Roger came by to help with a rat problem that turned out to be just a mouse. He was very honest and helpfully gave me advice on how to resolve the problem myself much cheaper. I would definitely trust him if I ever have problems again in the future.

I highly recommend Roger and Critter Solutions-I was out of my mind with listening to what turned out to be mice in my loft. He came round quickly and has just been back to check the situation. All is well. He is very professional, kind, considerate and respectful. He's an Ally too. Thank you so much Roger.

Amazing service by Roger and Critter Solutions. We had a mouse problem and Roger came round within days of enquiring. He quickly assessed the issue and was so knowledgeable about the situation and solution! I can?t recommend them enough. It?s so reassuring as a customer to be able to support a local family run business and to receive a personable and friendly service. I will be using them again in the future.
Another recommendation for Roger and Critter Solutions. We had both mice (longstanding problem that defied all our attempts to trap them) and rats (new arrival. Both now dealt with. I particularly like that Roger will return as often as needed for up to 18 months. Super helpful too: he helped me retrieve some keys from beneath floorboards, which was above and beyond the call of duty.

Another recommendation for Roger and Elliot - came to my rescue (again) - text him at 9pm - he was here 10am the next day and sorted out our problem. Fantastic service - quick, professional and reassuring - highly rate critter solutions

Another recommendation for Critter Solutions, to add to the many submitted and rightfully so. We were a new client to Roger and were very impressed with his service. Very quick response and came to visit the next morning after our call. Generous with his advice, knowledge and time and offered great solutions, along with being very pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend and will use Roger and his team if we have any further problems. Roger can be contacted on 020 8355 1913 / [email protected]

Another recommendation here for Critter Solutions for pest control issues. We have used them a few times and they are always quick to respond and pop round to the house as they are usually in the East Dulwich most weeks.

We had a mouse/mice problem and they helped us solve it and came back when we were concerned that they may have reappeared, which was all included in the initial price.

Ive just posted a recommendation for Roger and his team not realizing that this one also existed (it didn't come up on the first search) but following all the recommendations before now, another from me. He was really great, reassuring and quick to respond
Another huge recommendation for Roger and his son at Critter Solutions - they have been so helpful and knowledgable and super friendly and reassuring! Roger came the day after we contacted him and returned every week until the issue was resolved. I highly recommend giving them a call if you find yourself with rodent troubles!

Brilliant service from Roger at Critter Solutions Pest Control.

We have worked with Roger twice now on two different issues and each time Roger has gone above and beyond to successfully solve the problem.

Not only did he swiftly advise on how we could deal with the problem immediately, he was also on hand for any questions we had throughout the process. Would thoroughly recommend.

Another recomendation for Roger and Critter solutions. He sorted our mouse invasion back in pandemic times and came round today to look at my wasp nest & was able to treat it there and then which I didn’t expect. I now am wasp free. Highly recomend him.

I'd like to recommend Critter Solutions, a local family firm (Roger and Elliot) who are calm, effective and responsive and also happen to be lovely people. I've used the firm when mice have decided to make my home their home, yuk! They have been very effective and offer repeat visits. They have been recommended many times on ED Forum, and here they are again: on 07518577977 and 02083551913.

    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
    • That is also a Young's pub, like The Cherry Tree. However fantastic the menu looks, you might want to ask exactly who will cook the food on the day, and how. Also, if  there is Christmas pudding on the menu, you might want to ask how that will be cooked, and whether it will look and/or taste anything like the Christmas puddings you have had in the past.
    • This reminds me of a situation a few years ago when a mate's Dad was coming down and fancied Franklin's for Christmas Day. He'd been there once, in September, and loved it. Obviously, they're far too tuned in to do it, so having looked around, £100 per head was pretty standard for fairly average pubs around here. That is ridiculous. I'd go with Penguin's idea; one of the best Christmas Day lunches I've ever had was at the Lahore Kebab House in Whitechapel. And it was BYO. After a couple of Guinness outside Franklin's, we decided £100 for four people was the absolute maximum, but it had to be done in the style of Franklin's and sourced within walking distance of The Gowlett. All the supermarkets knock themselves out on veg as a loss leader - particularly anything festive - and the Afghani lads on Rye Lane are brilliant for more esoteric stuff and spices, so it really doesn't need to be pricey. Here's what we came up with. It was considerably less than £100 for four. Bread & Butter (Lidl & Lurpak on offer at Iceland) Mersea Oysters (Sopers) Parsnip & Potato Soup ( I think they were both less than 20 pence a kilo at Morrisons) Smoked mackerel, Jerseys, watercress & radish (Sopers) Rolled turkey breast joint (£7.95 from Iceland) Roast Duck (two for £12 at Lidl) Mash  Carrots, star anise, butter emulsion. Stir-fried Brussels, bacon, chestnuts and Worcestershire sauce.(Lidl) Clementine and limoncello granita (all from Lidl) Stollen (Lidl) Stichelton, Cornish Cruncher, Stinking Bishop. (Marks & Sparks) There was a couple of lessons to learn: Don't freeze mash. It breaks down the cellular structure and ends up more like a French pomme purée. I renamed it 'Pomme Mikael Silvestre' after my favourite French centre-half cum left back and got away with it, but if you're not amongst football fans you may not be so lucky. Tasted great, looked like shit. Don't take the clementine granita out of the freezer too early, particularly if you've overdone it on the limoncello. It melts quickly and someone will suggest snorting it. The sugar really sticks your nostrils together on Boxing Day. Speaking of 'lost' Christmases past, John Lewis have hijacked Alison Limerick's 'Where Love Lives' for their new advert. Bastards. But not a bad ad.   Beansprout, I have a massive steel pot I bought from a Nigerian place on Choumert Road many years ago. It could do with a work out. I'm quite prepared to make a huge, spicy parsnip soup for anyone who fancies it and a few carols.
