Taking the time to compile a list of local businesses you never use - accompanied by the notion that they could close because you don't use them - is not 'dry' or 'droll' in the Jack Dee sense. I think you've overlooked a bit of Foxy's leakage

Remember the Photography - there was one of a piece of stone & one of a rose garden I seem to remember.

They most beautifully showed his creative and some might say joyful side.

But I do think he's inclined to keep these under wraps these day - obviously not dry/droll enough.

That aside. I worked on Jack doh dah's house. He was very pleasant, except when his wife was around & he hid away 'writing' (in his bathroom no less). She still tops my list of "Most unpleasant people I've ever met"

He also rode a motorbike & had many hats and dark glasses in/on his hall table.
