Isn't Scoop's building a set of single storey shops? Where are these "flats above the shop"?

Same here. Salted caramel. Ginger and honey. Proper sugar cones. Yum.

Just hoping they don't realise how cheap their ice cream prices are .... :)

we tried Hope & Greenwood & thought it the worst ever.

I will stick with Ben & Jerrys & Haagen Dazs

Went yesterday for my first ice cream, the vanilla was great, pistachio to die for, there was a queue, had to be patient, as the kids in front of me were having a debate about which ice cream to have! so they kept me amused!! I brought the take away boxes, which given the quality, I thought were reasonably priced.

Really? When did you try it? If recently, they must have changed their supplier, as last year it was absolutely excellent.

I went in last week for their salted caramel icecream, and they didn't have any, which was very disappointing. I tried Oddono's, which was nice but didn't make me drool as much as Hope and Greenwood's had, so I wanted to see if my memory of Hope and Greenwood's was accurate!

    • Not sure how you define overtaxing, I expect most of the population would like to pay less tax.  One of the panel on Kuensseberg, not the young influencer, nor the unreconstructed old man (the opposite of 'new man') Piers Morgan), was fairly knowledgeable and explained that measures to improve growth such as an improved deal with the EU and trade agreements, are done elsewhere.

Ryan juggled his jobs around and installed the boiler the next day. He has done a very professional job and came back a week later to flush the system and check everything was working properly including fixing a radiator that wasn’t warming up. Great communication and a lovely guy. His number is 07939 981908

    • The markets only react if they think there is risk. The fact that runaway inflation has caused enough of an increase in tax receipts to cover spending with a surplus means there is no increased risk.  The new tax rises can therefore be spent wholly on benefits without any increase in borrowing, again minimising risk to existing treasury bond lenders.
