Mmmm, Sean - have a closer look at AndrewsCBlacks' photos from the last forum meet .... looks like girls aren't the only ones with a penchant for arses....

Hee hee - I know many eclipse men Annaj - in fact even my gay male friends are eclipse men (and they can get away with absolute murder....) I just think men of all persuasions find breasts fantastic. And quite right too!

If women were all around 1ft taller than men there wouldn?t be any of this awkwardness. Breasts would just be in your normal line of vision.

Perhaps if we apply Darwin?s theories, in a few million years this will happen through natural selection. Shorter men who don?t spend their lives staring in a downwards angle may have more energy to reproduce as they suffer from less chronic neck pain.

Although I am probably just speaking nonsense.

Anyway that?s me for today. I have a chiropractor appointment to get to.

Buggie, are you reading this thread?

I seem to remember we had a related conversation about boobs at the last Forum.... :)

And BB, I also recall a conversation about Brendan and his manly hammer! :)) Neh heh heh

We may have to rename the pub the Scandala.

yyyyyyyess annaj - because you have only just found the person you can talk at for a whole evening, after several years of being the quiet bashful one in the corner

methinks you will be fine... we, on the other hand will miss you terribly. But there will be other times, oh yes

I'm not actually sure I'll be able to do this one... Hopefully I will, but will have to wait and see.

I am very aware that I have been rubbish and unsociable at the last couple... I'm not trying to be rude or aloof, I'm just not very good in big crowds, and am actually quite shy when talking to new people (in real life), or I get too drunk and talk total nonsense that only other drunk people can understand.

Promise to try harder either at this one, or the next one I can make! There are several people that have been to 1 - 3 drinks, and I still haven't spoken to, or said more than a quick hello before running away and going for a fag outside.

Ooh such sarcasm

I wasn't suggesting she was the only person I could talk to, just that I had enjoyed doing so.

I was trying to be nice!

Won't bother next time.

*looks for emoticon of sulky face with sticking out bottom lip*

*can't find one*

*folds arms and turns back huffily*

Moos - I've just caught up with the topic's covered in this thread!! Have to say I disagree that Jah is an eclipse man - the first (and near only thing) he's ever said to me was regarding my chest!! V sad to be missing the next drinks - annoying thing is the date is always confirmed after my off duty is done - either definite yes/no situation!

That may well be true, but was he looking at it at the time?

    • I can't answer your question. But on them generally: it's changed hands in the last year or so, I think. I paid £35 for interior and exterior and they did a crap job. I'll go to the one on Herne Hill (or just do it myself if health allows) next time.
    • You'd need to get a proper quote (or three) for instance removing a cast iron bath is a very different job from removing an acrylic one. Again what pipe work will be being joined into - matching old imperial pipes with modern metric ones is different from like to like, as is dealing with a copper or an iron distribution system. The amount (area) of retiling required is an issue, as will be the state of the wall behind the tiles. It may of course all be very plain sailing, or not. Have a first look at plumber recommendations on the relevant pages on this site. If it's all easy then 3 days work may be sufficient. But it could be a week if there are snags.
    • Hi. Can anyone suggest a plumber for the job below? Replace bath tub with a shower enclosure, putting pipes to showerhead behind wall, re-titling damaged/removed tiles Also any idea of the costs involved for the labour as we will buy the items required?
    • Aria came round to fix my tub drain when I'd messed up the seal. Came within hours, fixed the tub, and ran a bath to make sure it was okay. Here's where the fun starts. While he was over, I asked him questions about the rest of the plumbing round the house. I had just moved into a Victorian home that was previously being rented. Unsurprisingly, we found another leak in the tub and a drip in the kitchen tap.  He came back the next day to put a better pipe in my bathtub and replace the kitchen sink. Painstakingly figured out how to replace the hard-to-access kitchen sink without cutting through the wood panel with the help of his builder friend, Mark. Answered all my questions and clearly knew his stuff. All this right before Christmas holidays!
