Are you morbidly obese? I've never had any problems with this.

I worked in DKH Sainsbos when I was 17/18, before heading up to Liverpool for uni. We had badges saying our name, with "here to help" underneath. I always remember this horrible woman asking me where the "virtually fat free" milk had gone. I explained that it was now labelled Skimmed, but that the lid was still blue. She refused to accept this news, and started prodding me in the chest with her finger and repeatedly saying "this isn't true, you're lying (my name)".

What sort of nutter thinks it's okay to treat a shop worker like that? Will never forget that weird horrible woman.

I agree.

Wouldn't like to be served by the person who started this thread though :))

The staff are excellent- the customers leave a lot to be desired- children running around uncontrollably, blocking the aisles by putting their trollies across the whole thing, taking 10 minutes to pick out a few carrots- an oasis of rude behaviour!

    • There are moves to place Thames Water into a SAR (Special Administration Regime) effectively renationalising it and wiping out its debt.  But then what ?  There is also rumours of lookmg for a new owner, including a Chinese backed group that already owns Northumbrian water and UK power.  Is that a controversial move as it places another of our inferstructural assets in foreign hands?  Should it be renationalised and run as a not for profit government organisation, placing investment and improvements before  shareholders? This in itself would adversely impact pension funds who have invested in utilities.  Its fairly obvious that Thames Water needs rescuing or restructure but what is the optimum and correct path to take ?
