I would also recommend Leon. When our oven recently stopped working he was very helpful in suggesting the potential cause of the problem by phone. When he came to do the job he was on time, polite and friendly, and managed to fix the oven 🙂. No hesitation in recommending.

I had a small electrical job that needed doing.   Read the reviews on here and decided to call Leon.
He came on the same day, completed the job and charged a very reasonable price.

He’s very professional, polite and punctual! Will definitely call him again for future jobs.

Thanks Leon!

Leon quickly responded to my request  to undertake an electrical installation condition report (EICR). He did a thorough job, was very reasonably priced, came when he said he would and delivered the outcome the same day - also describing further work that he could undertake and the time that would be needed. An excellent job. Would thoroughly recommend Leon. And thanks to others who have recommended him previously.

Can also highly recommend Leon who did a great job fitting an outdoor socket and replacing various internal and external light fixtures. Punctual, superb quality work and very competitive prices. Contact details are: Leon <[email protected]>

I'd also recommend Leon. He came and replaced a few sets of ceiling light fittings in a couple of different rooms of my house and did so promptly and efficiently. Very happy with the job and it was very straightforward to sort a couple of times that he then stuck to.

I want to highly recommend Leon. He responded within 12h for our request and came over within the week. He was kind, helpful and checked out a few other things in our place in the time he was over. If you're looking for an electrician - Leon is 100pc your man! We look forward to having him again for other jobs!

Would recommend Leon to anyone needing an electrician in the area. He completed some work for me this week - re-wiring a circuit of lights to incorporate a new on/off sensor. He visited last week to check the requirement and returned in just a few days to carry out the work. Quick, professional and a great job at a good price.

A recommendation for Leon, Electrical Initiative, who has done a couple of lighting jobs for me now, and both times communication was straightforward, he arrived on time, and did a great job. He's helpful and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again in future.

Totally agree with the reviews.
I was lucky enough to find Leon through this forum.   Leon came to me today to sort out some elec jobs.  What a really lovely, professional and punctual guy.    On top of that, he is very fairly priced.
highly recommend and will definitely be using again.

Thanks Leon

Another recommendation for Leon! Super efficient, professional, friendly, and great chat to top it all off. He helped us fix three ceiling light fittings and new switches and was in an out in an hour. Can't recommend him enough.

    • Its that time of year again, past Christmas day and late delayed cards are turning up. How late are your cards arriving ?  Last year I had one delivered 4 weeks late. Can that be beaten this year ?
    • Sadly, a lot of businesses didn't invite reviews on the EDF at that time due to a number of "negative nellies" that would take delight in posting unfavourable comments, often despite never being to the business in question.  No matter how good the place was, some posters would find fault that wasn't there "don't lile the colour of the bidet set in the private bathroom, avocado 😅" Can hardly blame businesses at the time for not wanting reviews on here, thankfully that has mostly changed now.
    • Was that the Hare Krishna place? I can't remember exactly where it was (or maybe still is) but it was somewhere around Oxford Street.
    • The "for sale" section on this forum lets people offer things for free or cheaply. And the "wanted" section let's people ask for things they want or need, for free or cheaply. There are also existing schemes like Freecycle, and also local  food banks. And there is (or was) a local scheme where you can bring things to be repaired free. I think it is/was based in Nunhead. Isn't that simpler than having a barter system? You might have something to give away, but the person who wants it might not have anything you want. Or have I misunderstood how it works? I can see that offering services free might not fit into existing schemes, but depending on what they were, what would happen if things went horribly wrong eg someone wrecked your house? Sorry if the above sounds very negative.
