Eh?

The Dog is fine to have a drink in.

Don't know about the food as I've never eaten there.

ETA: I mean never eaten there in its most recent incarnation.

I had one of the very worst meals of my life there about ten years ago ......

Blimey - what were the Dulwich Estate up to allowing a Bikers pub into the village - they won't even allow cashpoints!

I popped into the Dog last week and asked and they said the pub would stay the same but obviously the hotel bit would need the approval of the Dulwich Estate, which it still hasn't got. And, knowing the Dulwich Estate it will probably be a resounding "No." That's my take on it.

When it's in Dulwich Village and not East Dulwich.

Louisa.

As you say, it's "fine" but not "great". I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it. Dulwich Village could do with some more destination restaurants and pubs IMO - and this sounds like it could be just the ticket.

The address given for them both is local - oh, actually, no, it's a flat above a coffee shop in Shoreditch. That's odd, you'd think they'd at least be South of the river. Never mind, who's the other Director - oh, "EDITION CAPITAL DIRECTORS LTD", who / which is also Director of 35 other companies, several of which are "In administration" or "Liquidated". No, that's not mysterious at all...
