Clare Island, Co Mayo - heading back to the mainland tomorrow and to London on Sunday. Been to see Grace O'Malley's burial place this morning. It's a Cistercian abbey with important 12th century drawings. Went the other day and it was all locked up and no indication as to how to get in. But today there was a woman coming out with a key and I asked if I could have it and she just handed it over and showed me the doormat to leave it under when we were done!
