That's very sad news. Condolences to his family.

I bought the flowers for our wedding from him, and he very kindly stored them for us overnight until I could collect them (we did the table arrangements ourselves), as well as giving helpful advice on what would be in season thanks to the weather, and what to use instead when what I wanted wasn't available. He was so helpful.

    • I go to Crab Salad in Peckham https://www.crabsalad.salon/  I've never had a bad cut and have sent friends there who've had cuts and colour and remained regulars..The staff are all properly trained and are technically excellent cutters ...I know..I was a Vidal Sasoon hair model in the 80's and as a result I am very fussy about who I go to. Toby is wonderful but friends have been to other stylists and colourists there and are very happy. Its a nice enviroment and I like that the team listen to what I want and give good advice too.
    • I am wondering what is normal in terms of the council clearing leaves on East Dulwich streets. I took these photos of the pavement on Whateley Road on 17 December.  It had been like this for a couple of months. When it was wet or icy, the leaves were a slipping hazard.  They also got mushy and were sludgy and unpleasant to walk on. I have seen another street near here with a similar amount of leaves, and there may be others. I saw someone (I assume from the council) clearing away some of the leaves last week. However, there is a leafy brown sludge left on the pavement which is not too nice! Wondering what's normal. If this isn't, does anyone know how to contact the council about it?
    • Hi carb yes, but i dont imagine Banook’s are highly processed like those in the mainstream shops… they make them themselves. That’s what makes them so good…
