Burgled today

Hi, we were burgled today in Goodrich Rd during the day. I know there's been a spate of them so was anyone else affected?

Very sorry to hear that.

I thought I heard someone trying to get into the back of my house about 6am this morning - we're near the corner of Friern/Goodrich and my neighbour had something similar a few days ago at 5am at the front door. Thought I was imagining it, but maybe not.

Have the Police had much to say?

Which stretch of Goodrich was this?

Over in North Dulwich and there's a lot of attempted and actual burglaries going on during the day and night.

Latest one a few weeks ago and the police don't seem to be doing much and are out of touch with what is going on in each area over the past couple of years.

Its not just Dulwich, they tried to break in to ours in Sydenham last week

I live on Dunstans Rd (near Goodrich junction) and yesterday my mum, who is visiting, said she was slightly suspicious of 2 men in a silver car (old saloon type). I actually said at the time oh I'm sure it's fine and brushed her off a bit!

Possibly. She said it was two white males speaking a language that was possibly eastern European.

Thanks for the kind words. We're ok, just upset they took sentimental jewellery of not much value.

We're in a terraced house, near the Dunstan's Rd corner and they got in through an open front window. So, a lesson in keeping up security!

We were burgled last week (Ashbourne grove), very professional job. Apparently a lot in the area at the moment. It's so grim isn't it.

Sounds like the same two in a silver car who did the same in Nunhead. Be aware, they also try taking their way into houses.
