It is indeed still happening, although may I suggest half 7 - 8ish rather than straight after work, as I suspect a bit of dinner beforehand might be quite useful if you know what I mean! ;-) Crystal won't be on the forum til Friday, which is why it's me posting this.

I should be along later, but could be closer to 10 as promised Mrs Mockney some sushi on her return from business trip.

Ooh, and Mark's has asked if I could do a whip round that night with those who've pledged support for the forum tent, as he'll be away on his hols, if that's ok with those people. Don't worry, I won't run of to Rio with the loot (or more likely croydon)

Yep, I shall be elsewhere this Friday so please give your donations to Mockney which will go towards the little forum tent at the festival fair. All donations warmly accepted, even if you can't out for the evening please feel free to pop by and drop your money off with the charming Mockney

thanks

well, there are 5 forum members here in the CPT, hopefully all of whom will be there.

Jeremy, any word yet, bueller...bueller?

Barring that, ask the bar staff to point people out, they know us all pretty well.

CPT's a pretty small place.

We all meeting in the front bar I take it?

    • The Palmerston is open for meals on Christmas Day. I imagine The Cherry Tree will be again. We had a truly terrible meal there on Christmas Day last year which cost us £100 each without drinks, so I wouldn't recommend you book there 😭
    • Wow..has this forum gone down the pan..  Admin??  Two topics which do not make any sense at all.. Survey Horniman and asking for fireworks..       Sorry for fireworks - did not read clearly - my mistake wanted tickets..
    • Does anyone know what local pubs/restaurants will be open this year for Xmas serving lunch?
    • That’s interesting, Dulwich Dweller; my 70 yr old neighbour told me 2 weeks ago that he’d left work early to go and book in person (being uncomfortable with all the online & app stuff) and was explicitly told that he needed to go away and book online. He’s not the sort of person to be insistent and, like a lot of older people, a bit embarrassed at his lack of digital ability, so he left without the appointment . This is my point about inconsistency, since his experience was quite different from yours. I’m beginning think that it rather depends on who, at Reception, you speak to on day…
