SebsC
Hi there,We are going to attempt to take our nearly 3 year old ten pin bowling! Is this a bit too ambitious or can they still have fun having a go? Anyway, where do people tend to go in the area? When I was younger I tended to go to Streatham but not sure what it is like these days. Any suggestions gratefully received. jennyh
A friend of mine ended up at a bowling place in Surrey quays which did mini bowling at certain times of the day. She didnt end up bowling so no idea what it's like but worth looking maybe. EmilyPie
We went bowling with our nearly 3 year old last weekend at lewisham. Was very quiet (Sunday morning) and was clean and friendly. Our LO wasn't really that keen though. He didn't like having to be helped to bowl (he is going through a big independence stage), which was necessary even though we had one of those ramp things for rolling the ball down as the balls are big and heavy. He also didn't really get the rules and it went on too long for him. We had fun though so definitely worth a go i'd say. Our LO was a bit under the weather too so might have enjoyed it more if that hadn't been the case. We also went for lunch at a Turkish grill on Lewis grove afterwards which was very tasty. SebsC
Thanks Jennyh and EmilyPie! Was there parking at the bowling in Lewisham EmilyPie? I don't really know lewisham too well but it's close by so if we can park that would be a good one to go to. EmilyPie
We parked in the multi-storey which is right at the roundabout if you're coming down loam pit vale. You then walk through the shopping centre out onto the high st and onto lee high rd and the bowling is on your left. sarahnickharry
All star lanes shoreditch high street - small, relatively quiet, only 4 lanes and great with kids. bumpers and the brilliant rack you use for them to bowl from (and easy from denmark hill or peckham rye stations Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/39238-where-to-take-a-nearly-3-year-old-bowling/#findComment-702628 Share on other sites

StraferJack
I took my 2year old to E&C bowling early on a Saturday morning (11:30 ish)place was quiet at that hour and she had an absolute blast - obviously they use the support aids (;ane blocks and ramp etc) but she maintained interest through whole game. Loved the space in there as well Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/39238-where-to-take-a-nearly-3-year-old-bowling/#findComment-702725 Share on other sites
