The last face-lift the pub was given, so far as I know, was done by Chris and Antonia, who did wonders with a big bare space and had plans to do more.

They were also responsible for changing the name to The Cherry Tree, following a lot of engagement on this forum. And for bringing in an excellent chef, who the owners treated in the same despicable way as they treated the managers.

Is this the first GOOD post about the PUB. Must have been posted by the always drunk ? Bernard Manning? Of should that be Drunk GARY?

How are they bizarre? I'm genuinely interested, but there's no way I'm going into The Cherry Tree to check them out!
