I wanted to give this a try this evening but from 5.30 to 6.30 I couldn't get through on the phone so gave up. Has anyone passed by them and seen if they are really open or not?

Hi, they are open but crazy busy. I think their phone is basically continuously busy. We couldn't get through last night so walked there to order, was told it would be at least an hour... So we gave up and will try again mid week!

We tried last night (about 8ish) and were told that they weren't taking any orders at that point as the kitchen was too busy. They didn't seem too encouraging when we suggested we try again later. Might give it another try in a few weeks once initial interest has calmed down.

I'm confused - isn't the op talking about the separate take away that's due to open soon?

Man restaurant has been doing take away as and when their kitchen can cope for a whole now but I don't think that's the question...

Id like to know when the take away is open too! Plan on being a regular...,

It is open and, unsurprisingly, hugely busy. If you go their main website on the right hand side of the page under 'noticeboard' is the link to the take away website - follow that and you will find details and the menu. And no, they obviously don't need the publicity!

Yeah - we tried on Friday night. It was like phoning DMC - constantly engaged. Gave up in the end. Maybe will try in a few weeks.

We got delicious takeaway last Sunday but ordered very early indeed!

i ordered from them on Saturday night at about 7.15. Took about 15 minutes of redialing to get through but they delivered in under 45 minutes. Apparently it's practically impossible to get through if you leave it later than 7.30

We put in an order earlier on Saturday evening (6.30) - got through straight away - and the food arrived in less than 15 minutes. BOSH.

Great to have somewhere decent to order such stuff from AT LAST

The food is amazing and we always phone as soon as they are open to avoid disappointment. Can't beat going to the restaurant though as they have some cracking dishes on the menu.

We phoned about 7pm last night... had to try a few times, but after getting through the food arrived very quickly. Prawn curry was a stonker. Overall about 50% more expensive than a regular curry but we were OK with that.

They do a ten percent discount if you pick up yourself.
