Buying the freehold of a flat

steveo - no, if over 50% of the tenants want to buy the freehold then the landlord has no choice.


alixandjames - I used TJM law for buying the freehold to my old flat - not compulsory enfranchisement, but I'm sure they have a lot of exprience of this.

Except if there are only two flats it has to be both. Just thought it easier to say "over 50%" seeing as most conversions will be 2 or 3 flats.
