Yes, why don't we all wear something that will be of significance only to eachother?

Mr Batdog could wear an enormous cloak, I could bring my enormous handbag, Mr Mikewbate could bring some dodgey mags, our two beautiful enfianced ladies could wear veils, Crystal and Keef could carry a pint, Mr Ant could carry a baby, and have a vomit stain on his shoulder (hold on, actually that could be most of Lordship lane). Should we carry on further with this idea - or is it not a good plan?

ok, we've got an area so it's game on. I've highlighted what's needed in the original post so if you can assist that's fantastic and don't forget to drop by the Crystal Palace Tavern on Friday 13th April to have a drink and give contributions for the gazebo to Mockney. Just ask behind the bar who the forum people are.

The organisers of the fair will be needing a hand on the day to, they'll be posting details on here again soon so if you want to get involved in a community event on a you're more than welcome, in fact, you're actively encouraged.

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
