Can't say I've been to the Clapham place - but if it is decent then this new place will surely be a success. Do they deliver? Fujiyama does good business even all the way out here in SE22 - on account of no other options.

Edo in Crystal Palace deliver here and are better than Fujiyama in my experience. I kept getting cold food from Fujiyama.

Seconded on Edo, love it. Tried Fujiyama and was also disappointed, sushi arrived in a bit of a mess and wasn't that good. There is another in Camberwell that delivers (Sushi Time, I think, via Just Eat, but can't remember for sure) which is OK in a pinch.

However, a new sushi bar on Lordship Lane is VERY exciting. Have sorely missed Sushi Lady.

Great news - Lucas was open today (I think originally their last day was to be Monday) and it looks like they're going to be open for a little longer - mid April was the date I was given today.

Given the combination of absurd pricing and shocking service I encountered I'm amazed Luca's lasted as long as it did tbh.

I quite liked Lucas until I realised they filled their HP sauce bottles with something other than HP sauce. It might sound peti, however, when you're paying the prices they ask in good faith, to then be "mugged off" in this way doesn't sit well. No great loss!

Not petty at all.

I assume it is illegal to fill HP Sauce bottles with anything other than HP Sauce.

There is also hygiene risks doing so.

Also some sauces contain animal products like anchovies. This would not be acceptable to Vegetarians as

HP sauce does not show any such ingredient on the label.
