I have had a frightful crush on Batdog, and then he cleared off and left. I think that SeanMacGabhan is adorable, Keef is unbelievably cute and Michael Popadopalot just has to snap his fingers and I am there *swoon*.

Is it just me or do all women simply adore articulate men?

I don't think I could get a crush on someone purely because of the forum - there's got to be that physical chemistry to go with the personality and intelligence. Hard to define what "chemistry" is - but I definately know when it is not there.

Plus lots of the guys who make a good impression on me here are if not married, at least have partners, and I really try avoid having crushes on people who aren't available. Ok, my crushes rarely lead anywhere (seem to have a knack of being attracted to guys who at best think of me as a friend only), but I'd rather not start with a definate no hope.

Wha...?

I like Keef. I like Jah Lush. I feel all shruggy and slightly awkward about this.

Don't get me wrong I like lots of the girls/women/peoples who post on here and I'm including Sean McGabban in this.

I reckon I'd be thrilled to smooch any of them on the lips. I'm actually letting Sean McGabban off at this point.

Never met the man, but I think he'll understand.

Oh, all right, Annasfield, Annaj, Giggirl Ms B. There, I've said it.

And if Bellendelle Belle isn't a belter, then I don't know belters.

And MadWorld74 has a place in my heart. From ventricles, she knows.

And then I become George Costanza.

You like them. They don't like you. You don't like them...

For anyone looking in, take it as a default that I like you...assuming you're female...and vaguely available.

CWALD - s'cool. I never responded or took it badly. But I was pleased that Ted "Mike Skinner" Max felt for me ;-)

The thread has feered into forumites I like territory tho - I prefer to dwell on possible slip-of-the-tongue moments when people talk about their "other" crushes

Okay I'll take a bold step because noone else is, and admit a forum crush based solely on posts, please don't be afraid, there will be no stalking. She cracked me up with a very clever, but somehow innocent wit, she seemed very bright and she was very brave in standing up for what she believed. Her name... Moos.

    • I'd have thought they could use some of  their income from hiring out a large part of Brockwell Park in the summer (therefore, as I understand it, preventing local residents from using much of it) to put on a firework display there  in the autumn which might somewhat make up to those residents for the previous loss of use of the park. And also generate goodwill.
    • Clicking on your name, I see you've made seven posts on here since you joined  around four years ago, and they've all been about local libraries. And none of the posts are  very pleasant. Care to share with the rest of us where  your particular interest in libraries comes from? Do you work in one of them?
    • Kam was with us last week to wallpaper a bedroom. He was a pleasure to deal with and did a fantastic job - very neat and matched the tricky pattern very well. Would certainly use again.
    • What a bunch of pieholes. 2025 and you peasants have nothing to be grateful for. I have been inside the library recently and honestly the old girl is crying for a facelift, the goddamn carpet looks like it survived the world war and some. The Library is one of the oldest in Southwark and you are crying about a study place? What a bunch of bullshit. You have libraries all around you for your kids to go their studying you rotten sausage. How about be happy that the library is going to look absolutely stunning rather than be a whining bitch about it   Also, I have been told that the staffs have to work in the smaller libraries together. How do you think they feel?
