Mice in Clock House

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that appears that the Clock House near the Gardens is infested with Mice. I had dinner there on Wednesday night and saw a mouse running between the tables. We gave them the benefit of the doubt that the mouse had run in from the open door and that it was not the norm. We reported it to one of the bar staff that night as well. Tonight (Sunday) we had Sunday dinner there and there where multiple mice running throughout the restaurant. We again reported it to multiple bar staff and they did not seem concerned. This is such a disappointment as the clock house is very cute and has great food. However, we will not be eating there again as we cannot trust the cleanliness of the restaurant. I was there with out of town guest and it was rather embarrassing, especially in light of the first reporting of the mice, to have them see mice running throughout the restaurant.

@TheArtDogger. The mice incident has been such a disappointment as I live near the Clock House and was hoping to make this my normal pub. However, seeing mice twice in the same week has put me off. I would suggest not sitting in the back of the pub where the table service is as that is where we saw the mice.

Seconded. It's like an All Bar One in 2001 before even they cottoned on to half decent beers.

    • You miss the point entirely. The motivations of the the BBC's victims are irrelevant. You are advocating that their failure to be impartial is justified because you disagree politically with the people they are inaccurate about. This is the whole problem.  They don't make these "mistakes" with Starmer / the Greens / Davey because they agree with everything those people say.
    • So... you saw them then? In spite of them having no lights (and presumably being dressed in all black / coming out of nowhere / insert any other standard anti-cyclist trope here). I've long thought that the best way of being visible as a cyclist is to wear all black, have no lights and to ride on the pavement (or jump red lights). Not only does literally *everyone* see you, they pop onto the local forum to complain about you! On the other hand if you dress in all yellow and get T-boned, the driver will still manage to say "sorry mate, I didn't see you". 😉
    • Fine dude - you do you. I dont think you have the slightest interest in the BBC (whereas clearly HeadNun dos) other than its elimination.  If it made these mistakes against starmer/davey/greens whoever I doubt you would get as upset. It’s all very “bring a pen to Brexit referendum because they can rub out pencil  votes” (“but strafe!! Dave hasn’t said any of these things on here  and if you suggest he does elsewhere you have no proof!”  This is true! And yet here we are ) I’ll ask again. Why do you think lowe said foreigner and domestic.  Instead of just “criminals”?
    • The number of cyclists that are not wearing front and rear lights, or high visibility clothes is unreal. Add to that dangerous weaving in and out, especially on this weather. So selfish, irresponsible and dangerous. We’re just tracking a bus route through Camberwell and have seen too many cyclists inadequately dressed and breaking the law.
