That?s a little disingenuous Otta, there have been several fairly strong criticisms of posters like Ron70 who have been clear that they don?t think it?s acceptable.

It seems that some people take more exception to those of us who dont want it and are emphatic about it being out of order and invasive to intrude on to property to rummage through others bins.

I've never seen them in action, wrong poster.

Are you actually asking my advice or trying to be clever? I'm guessing the latter! I've already stated that I wouldn't be happy to sit and watch someone going through my bins (regardless of where they're positioned) and if I put something out that I think might be of value to somebody else it's always accompanied by a piece of paper inviting people to "help yourself". Any more questions?

Two woman with a trolley v veolia, I know where my main concern would lie.

At least these woman can be approached directly where veolia, our friendly local

Binmens company has a history of refusing to give information asked.

I think my initial sympathy with the OP was that people were in the front garden/alley/drive. Regardless of the rights or wrongs of bin rummaging (I?m indifferent), I?d be unhappy with people being in my front garden or right outside the door or down the side alley who weren?t there to visit, ring the bell, deliver something etc. I think I?d feel entitled to ask them to ?get off my laaand?.

    • Hi all, Wondering if anyone else in/around SE22 is also having the unfortunate luck of having Evri parcels delivered by a very rude individual? Whenever we have parcels delivered, our front gate is being slammed open and closed, ring doorbell is harshly banged (not pressed) followed by simultaneously banging on the door knocker and slamming the letter box multiple times. Someone is normally home by the time they come in the evening and never has to wait long for an answer. If we’re not home, we speak to them on the doorbell so we do find the actions of this individual unreasonable and rude.  We have tried a couple of times politely asking that they not do this but they are very dismissive and gives a passive-aggressive “have a nice day” reply.  Has anyone been able to contact Evri and successfully had any issues similar to this resolved? We have enough evidence through our doorbell footage but we are lost with what else we can do. We’ve tried asking politely but don’t want our gate or door damaged by someone who simply doesn’t care and lacks basic manners.    If anyone else is having this issue or has any advice on how we can report this, it would be much appreciated. After another dismissive reply to my concern this afternoon, I will be calling Evri tomorrow to raise a complaint. I have lost my patience with them
    • Corbyn was unelectable - he got trashed by Boris who was a buffoon. It was a good job too because I would have hated to see Corbyn and his rag-tag bunch of far-left university politics backbenchers try to lead the country through Covid.  It is completely understandable why Starmer and the Labour Party want to purge Momentum from within their ranks and Cllr McAsh has fallen victim of that.
