EDmummy
Cocktails and a grown up film at the Ritzy? We usually can't make it past 10pm so meal and cinema almost impossible. A friend goes to queens way cinema (u think that's the one) where you can have a meal whilst watching a film. Would also recommend Young Vic for a play and a drink and bar snacks. StraferJack
are people doing it deliberately now? Most of the non-ED places are as easy to get to, granted but..The clincher to the original question is "Without breaking the bank" -so we can only guess how much is in teh bankBut in ED places break down into "pricey but not mega bucks" like ToastED, Franklins, Palmerston, mid-range (most other places incl curry houses etc) or Favourite chickenAlways have a soft spot for Franklins but reality is that on rare occassins we got to go out in ED, without kids, in the evening, it was Palmerston Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/49473-night-out-without-the-kids-where-in-ed-to-go/#findComment-784568 Share on other sites
snowboarder
It's mybe not an ideal 'date' night place as I think it's mostly communal tables, but I really liked the French House cafe - felt really relaxed....and is in ED!! Or any of the others already mentioned... They also do a 10% discount card for locals (we don't have one so not sure how you get it) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/49473-night-out-without-the-kids-where-in-ed-to-go/#findComment-786203 Share on other sites
