I wrote a thread on the Betfair Forum before the kick-off asking what time EXACTLY Leeds would get their Penalty--I predicted 64th Minute so I wasn't too far out.:)).

I feared the worse as Millwall fans were only allowed a derisory 1,000 tickets (as were Leeds at The Den) and with a volatile full house of 37,000 against them plus Beccio/Beckford et al I did not think we would do it.

Before the game Jason Price (injured) said that the Team were really confident, a confidence I did not share.

They were right and I was wrong I'm delighted to say.

To get myself in the mood I watched the 6-part History of Millwall and the 6-part CCTV-Leeds/Millwall match recorded with Donal McIntyre that showed the "passion" of The Leeds Fans so I was "up" for the match come kick-off.

I was very unlucky with my Betting as I did "0/0" at 15/1 and the time of the first goal in 3 seperate Bets i.e. "61-70 Mins"// "71-80 Mins" -- "81-90 Mins") so if it had been 0/0 at 60 Minutes I could not have lost.

It didn't matter as I rarely have been so proud of The Lions, which I have watched since 1961, and all I have to do now to get a Wembley Ticket, which won't be as easy as it might sound.

It will be a wonderfully colourful spectacle at Wembley and we will enjoy the day out and hopefully Promotion!

Commisserations to Leeds, it is only a matter of time before they go up with that support.

WALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL:))

Oh! I nearly forgot....

E-I-O, E-I-O, E-I-O, E-I-O

E-I-O, E-I-O, E-I-O, E-I-O....>:D<

Glad to see Millwall climbing again. Used to love our "Spats" when we were allowed to go and watch each other. The last time I managed to go was when we were banned fromthe new den and Merson took you apart!!! I amanged to sneak in of course!

Millwall was my Nan's club, She had a lot to do with the club during the war when she used to coach the kids team.

My first Away Match outside London was at Portsmouth, circa 1967/8 when Pompey had Ray Hiron/ Albert McCann and Co.

Would other Millwall Fans be there I wondered. We parked quite a way from the Ground and suddenly I heard The Millwall Fans singing Away and we were some distance from Fratton Park.

When we got in the place I always remember the image of The Two-Tier "Home" End and around 2,000 Millwall Fans doing a "Knees Up Mother Brown" in the Top Tier with few Home Fans asit was one hour before kick-off.

I needn't have worried....last laugh (as usual "Away" ) was on Millwall as we were brushed aside 3/0 lol

It was Ian Hutchinson actually. Surely you'll remember his windmill-like arms after his long throw?

Anyway,

Police have confirmed that two Premiership footballers have had their houses burgled on the same night last Tuesday. Ryan Giggs had 70 Welsh caps, 10 Premiership medals, 2 Champions League medals, 5 FA Cup medals, 1 League Cup medal, 2 World Club Cup medals, 8 Charity Shield medals and 1 Super Cup medal stolen.

Emmanuel Adebayor lost a kettle and a toaster.

This joke was sent to my by text two weeks ago.

Could have been worse, the burglar could have gone to a Spurs players house, taken one look and the empty glass cabinets collecting dust for over 50 years and left behind an Untouchables 49 games unbeaten DVD to show them how it's done.

Bolton 1 Hull 1 ( Hull holding on )

Everton 2 West Ham 0

Man Utd 0 Arsenal 1 ( Thriller at Hull next week )

Middlesbrough 0 Aston Villa 3 ( down down down )

Newcastle 1 Fulham 1

Stoke 2 Wigan 1

Tottenham 0 Man City 4

Chelsea 4 Blackburn 0

West Brom 0 Liverpool 5

Portsmouth 1 Sunderland 0

It's all getting a bit tight at the bottom

    • No sweetheart. It is a fantastic sermon which should be shared. It is a rights-based sermon which received a standing ovation - if you can be bothered to get to the end.
    • Welcome back. What have voting intentions got to do with this thread? And much as you may hate the present incarnation of so-called Labour, as do I,  I don't think it is true that they have "not done a single positive thing for working class people", is it? And how exactly are you defining "working class people", anyway?
    • I can’t bear the media “is this racist comment racist” angle taken to reporting it. I feel like she’s a useful out rider for Farage to test how far they can take their rhetoric - it’s not the first time she’s said things that cross over the line. Overt racism is becoming far more commonplace and it’s deeply concerning.
    • Dear families,  I am exploring the idea of starting a casual, low cost Mandarin club for children in the area. This would be a fun,play-based introduction to the language and culture for young learners. Before I organize anything,  I wanted to see if there is any interest! If you might be interested, could you please reply to this post or PM with  1. Your child’s age.  2.What kind of format you’d prefer( A. weekly playgroup, B after-school club,  C. weekend session) Even a simple”interested!”  helps. This is just a preliminary survey.  No commitment.
