I was thinking 1970 Cup final replay Vs Leeds (sorry Leeds fans) sure that was Webb or did he nod it in?

In fairness most refs have been poor this eason, but it's not always the refs fault when your side loses, sometimes it's just because the oppostion were better than you, or on occasions have had the rub of the green. I've no complaints about were we've ended up in the league.

Bolton 2 Hull 0

Everton 2 West Ham 0

Man Utd 2 Arsenal 0 (Sorry to say it, but unless Arsenal have changed something around in the last 7 days, I can't see any other result)

Middlesbrough 1 Aston Villa 2

Newcastle 2 Fulham 1 (Just think they'll save themselves)

Stoke 2 Wigan 1

Tottenham 3 Man City 2

Chelsea 2 Blackburn 0 (wish Blackburn could still go down)

West Brom 0 Liverpool 2

Portsmouth 1 Sunderland 0

Rangers v Aberdeen Saturday

Hibs v Celtic Sunday

I predict

Gers 3 - 1 Aberdeen

Hibs 1 - 2 Celtic

If correct, go into final game with same points, 1 goal of goal difference in Celtic's favour..... Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Boston, Chicago, Irish pubs of the world, bite their collective nails.

Pele was an absolute genius. He had everything. A footballing God.

Oh dear, our little Russian maestro will never endear himslef to women with comments like this.

Arshavin has a few choice opinions on women drivers: "I would never give driving lessons to women. We need to build a few new roads for them. Why because you never know what to expect from them," he said.

Thanks for those enlightened words Andry, I would suggest you stick to football and leave social commentary to others.

Well, I may as well be the first to say it (through slightly gritted teeth), congrats to Man U, once again, just too consistant.

Glad to see the pool taking it close though, and although disappointing in the end, this has been a good season, compared the the recent years when a genuine title shot has been out the window by feb at the latest, and we've been scrapping for 3rd or 4th.

I believe that a couple more players will make the pool more of a finished article, and hopefully next season will be a good race... Made all the more exciting by the fact that United have now equalled Liverpool's title haul, and could go top next year...

At last! Of course we couldn't have done it without spending soooo much money as the guru Benitez has told us. What a twat. (Apart from the fact he managed to spend ?20M on a player who then went straight back to where he came from for less money.) One more and they are well and truely knocked off their perch abnd that IS a fact. Bring on next season. ;-)

You're actually sat on our perch with us. I believe that when you knock someone off you surpass their record.

We may also have spent a wedge on Keane but we had to sell to buy and that's the difference.

Having a bit of luck helps and think we've missed out on that this season. Need to start converting those 0-0's in to late 1-0 wins.

    • Had a Red Admiral in front driveway today. Hadn't seen one for some time
    • It’s a flat fee levy payable by guests staying in hotel and hostel rooms, so added to the bill.  This already happens in Manchester and Liverpool ( I think in Liverpool it’s a percentage, so the more expensive rooms pay more). I read somewhere that Edinburgh is doing this next year? Charges of this kind are becoming common around the world. I think it absolutely makes sense for Southwark and other boroughs are bound to follow.
    • In  parts of Europe you just get charged tax at the end of your stay somewhere. Usually a couple of quid added to your bill. Most tourists are pretty happy to stump up the cost, as it's an expected expense.  I  think it's a good way to make money and remove the burden from locals.  It's for foreigners, Sue - I'm sure Londoners and brits will still be able to freely cross the borough lines without having to go through checkpoint charlie 🙂
    • It doesn't work like that. There won't be differential pricing for tourists and residents at any attractions, no checkpoints nor a requirement to carry one's papers with one at all times. A levy is put on hotels, maybe on Air B&Bs, on a bed per night basis. That cash goes to Southwark. It's pretty easy to administer.
