red devil
Hey Jah, being top of the league has obviously made you go light headed, Man Utd won the first Premiership in 92/93 season, Ledds won the last First Division title in 91/92... matthew123
Yup United won first PL - and thus never did win the Football League again which they last won 42 years ago.. Ladygooner
I think 1-3 has a nicer ring to it Matthew - the same as the score on Monday night! BTW if you want the away team to win you should state 0-3! Mick Mac
LG. Matt knows far too much about football to make such a simple error. 0-3 it is. However as he thought celtic would lose the first leg by 4 or 5 i suggest he is not taking tonights game seriously. Annasfield
Sorry, but Arsenal's "come on everyone lets make some noise", free scarves, singing and words on the screen to wonder of you and "Cesc"..... "FABREGAS!!!" is fooking embarrassing. The day that happens at Anfield is the day I stop going. Was at the Emirates on Saturday and it was cringeworthy. Jah Lush
Couldn't agree more Anna but I reckon Celtic have already scored an own goal with that away kit. Hideous! Mick Mac
Lucky goal, own goal and a dive penalty. No doubt Arsenal will score more and say how easy the whole thing has been. Mick Mac
I'll leave it to Kenny Dalglish to do my whinging for me - he seems to be doing a good job at slating Eduardo. Mick Mac
I'm putting that down as a 3-1 aggregate defeat. Don't count deflected goals or cheating bugger penalties. And we won the singing. So there, stick that in your pipe and smoke it. Was very pleased with Celtic tonight. Thought they played dignified football and its early days with the new manager. Hope we do not lose any players next week.I see a really top Arsenal team developing here and think they will win the Premiership. I think they have outstanding players all over the park and the Arshavin and Vermalen?? additions have really lifted them. Well done Arsenal a deserved win overall. I'd like to have seen what might have happened without the dive and without last weeks deflected goal. Each were the first goal in each match, so each of those goals were crucial in the overall outcome.Brendter - "I did not see the incident" - Classic. matthew123
Arshavin is a great little player - it's shame that on the last transfer deadline day, in the snow, when Arsenal lowered their original agreed price for the Russian that the Yanks were coining the Robbie Keane money instead of paying for a replacement..So all that goodwill Eduardo built up after that horrendous leg break has in one shameless dive been blown away to reveal the cheating little fooker we all first suspected... Mick Mac
it does not matter who you draw anna. The group stages are a formality for the english teams. And in general as some weaker teams have been allowed in this year its going to be even easier for the top 2 in each group.
