Obviously there are loads I've left out, including some of my favourite players such as Maradona and Zidane. But I've considered the above as a team and who would function best in it, so I haven't gone totally Galactico.

Ok to settle things down, I'm going to make a pledge that I will not make any more comments related to Liverpool, Arsenal or Man United until at the earliest next Monday if: -

1) I am not compelled to respond to any unfounded comments on the above, particularly in regard boasting

2) If Mockney is able to start making headway on the Dulwich Hamlets pre-season drinks

:))

But you fail to support your argument with anything tangiblle such as facts, as for ????'s who the fcuk does he think he is.

He's shit, not fit to lace Henrys boots

Not fit to lace his boots: This is what Thierry Henry said about Larsson:

In his final game for Barcelona, he won his first UEFA Champions League medal. Larsson came on as a substitute and assisted both of Barcelona's goals in a 2?1 win over Arsenal. Thierry Henry paid tribute to Larsson's contribution to Barcelona's win after the game, saying, "People always talk about Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Giuly and everything, but I didn't see them today, I saw Henrik Larsson. He came on, he changed the game, that is what killed the game. Sometimes you talk about Ronaldinho and Eto'o and people like that; you need to talk about the proper footballer who made the difference, and that was Henrik Larsson tonight."[7] Indeed his ability to give Barcelona the cutting edge required to overcome Arsenal was noted by the international press.[8][9]

Using your philsophy and your rationale in your approach to your Henry discussion, I shall respond thus, He's Still Shit.

Okay, all players at their peak.

Quite an attacking line up for me. I know it's probably not the best 11, but it's MY personal favourite 11 (Gary Neville is not, and never will be a favourite of mine, but have to give him credit).

"Steve Potts" took the words out of my mouth. Le Tissier would be in there, Schmeichel too, I'll have a think about he others. Best of luck big John Hartson, my colleague announced today that he's undergoing chemotherapy today and him with 2 very younguns, so a big fingers crossed to him too.

Worst pie I ever had was running back from Meadow Lane to Nottingham train station when I was starving and grabbing a curry pie from a newsagent - easily the vilest pie I have bitten into and spat out!

As for Greatest XI - I thought we were talking Premiership otherwise where the feck is Pele!!!

How about an "On The Sauce" XI: If you could get them on the park, they'd be a decent outfit, and the apres match would be sensational. I need a couple of dipsomaniacal fullbacks, though - any ideas?

What about Paul Merson?

He can chat on the bench about the good ol days down at the Academy of Football with bad boy Mark Ward, recently released from prison for drugs offenses

Not sure if this qualifies as your right back but Jermaine Pennant did a little cameo at right back last season in one game

    • Yes they do, but that is not the core tenet of representative democracy. At that level, we are voting for a parliamentary representative, irregardless of whether parties exist or not. It's why candidates can stand as independents.
    • Sadly I think you will never convince people like this. They think gardens have to be kept chopped back and controlled. My theory is that this comes from being (or trying to be) controlling in every aspect of their lives, so I doubt if anything you could say or show them would have any effect. But are they actually coming into your garden or leaning over into it and pulling up/damaging things? If so, maybe one of our community police people could have a word with them?
    • Dear Nature lovers - advice please. I am being harassed by a neighbour who doesn't like my standard of gardening which she calls 'messy'. (I have rewilded my garden with advice from the London Wildlife Trust and a gardening expert from The Times.) I have twice caught this neighbour and her husband pulling up my plants and damaging my trees. Plus she has photographed my house, and sent a dozen complaints to the Dulwich Estate about my plan to rewild the verge outside my property - approved by the Estate some 4 years ago in line with their stated policy of supporting biodiversity in and around Dulwich. What can I do to introduce these neighbours  to the benefits to us all of returning a portion of our gardens to nature?
