Touchy Man Ure supporter obviously. Try saying something witty in defence of this pathetic chant and I might have some sympathy for your club...........................actually no I wouldn't

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz x2

AG, you obvioulsy have some short term memory problems because both Red Devil and I explained the Argnetina chant to you a few posts back on the thread.

I am not sure why you would think we would chant for an opposition player but if you want to do that at arsenal then it's your choice. Personally, if I was an arsenal fan I encourage any kind of chanting as the atmosphere from the Highbury Library seems to have transferred itself to the Emirates.

Personally if I was a Man Ure fan I would be ashamed of chanting the name of a nation other than my own, full stop. Your logic seems a bit twisted, you seem happy to chant the name of an opposition nation, bearing in mind that this is a nation we went to war with not that long ago, and get you very touchy when people mention it.

Ha,ha. Jingoism and xenophobia AG. Nice one. We haven't been at war with Argentina for 27 years but don't let that stop you hating them. What a sad and worrying comment.

Anyway, as I've said before I am sure you think that no Man Utd fans come from Manchester and they are all from abroad so they may be chanting the name of their own nation. I'm also not ashamed of chanting Argentina, just as the England fans who boo our players when they play for england aren't ashamed to do that. I suspect you are one of them so you tell me.

I support England, but for me it's always The Arsenal before anybody.

I did say anywhere that I hated them, sinply that I would be ashamed of singing another nations name, get it right. You Man Ure fans are very peculiar beings who get affronted when someone has the audacity to point out that your actions are far from acceptable. You Man Ure fans are far too thin skinned, especially since being given a shafting by Barca.

By the way RD I'm of Turkish Cypriot descent not Turkish, there is a distinct and marked difference.

God you are tedious. My actions aren't unacceptable. I chant for a player. I chant Argentina. I will now chant it louder than ever in the hope that you hear it and your head explodes in indignation. That is the only way I can see this boring, protracted and pointless conversation ending.

I can only now imagine you wrapped in a Union Flag growling at passersby who look vaguely foreign and muttering about two world wars and one world cup....maybe with a Staffie in tow.

Chant long and loud dear boy, which will only serve to perpetuate my view of you sad Man Ure mob. My apparel is bespoke and comes from Gieves & Hawkes, shoes mand made by Lobb, and I have a labrador at my counrty retreat in the better part of Kent. Sorry to disappoint old fella, but clearly your perception of me is decidedly erroneous. Cheerio.

So it's not ok for us to chant the country of one of our most valued players (at a club level) but it is ok for you cheer on another country in a major competition? Personally I didn't cheer for anyone in the Euros because England weren't there and I support England. But if you think it's ok to swap your allegiences whenever the team you support don't do well enough then that's fine.....

Having said that Arsenal haven't really performed in any competition for a few years now so I guess you have to choose someone else to support in the latter stages on a fairly regular basis.

drowning in your own hypocrisy...

Remind me next time England don't qualify for a championship to support another country and refer to them as 'we'...
