bigbadwolf
I'll send you my business card Louisa. Plenty of labourers have been laid off and would be glad of the chance to 'let off some steam'. They'd even bring their own tools. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5047-squaters/page/3/#findComment-163370 Share on other sites
LegalEagle-ish
Louisa, can I suggest a sight flaw in your plan - if you did return home after sunning yourself in Spain and decided to strong arm/beat up/shoot the offending squatters, apart from being liable to be arrested for your criminal actions, the people you just strong armed/beat up/shot know where you live, so unless you were planning on keeping your heavies on permanent retainer, I think you may end up with some form of payback. Louisa
Bring it on I say, I am always up for a decent barny, especially when it's on my own doorstep. I would not think twice about questioning the rights of a squatter over a law abiding citizen such as myself. I know I would win at the end of the day, so either way, I think my route is best. Brendan
Oh don?t get so upset. A little shooting never hurt anyone. I personally can think of many people deserving of a good shooting. Which is probably why it is a good thing that I am not a judge. LegalEagle-ish
If guns were freely available to fine upstanding citizens such as us, like they are in America, I think i probably would have shot a good few of my fellow men by now. I may have regretted it somewhat afterwards when trying to explain it to the Judge, but I can think of a few people who would be six feet under if someone had unwisely allowed me to own a gun!
