Lordship Lane, Melbourne Grove, Whatley and the roads leading up to the police station have been closed

and buses are stopping at goose green, lots of traffic!

it has been reported that there is a suspect package outside ED Police station

Yea I cycled past 20mins ago and there was a policeman putting police tape around the station - I did think is was a little odd

No it hasn't been evacuated(!). I can see the package (looks like a small briefcase) out of my front window. Needless to say, I'm now sitting in the back room.

Yep, looks like they used one of those robot things to do a "controlled explosion". The bag has moved a few feet in the blast and a policeman is now inpsecting iot with a torch.

I've been a guest twice now and the service is exeptional. Lewisham Police castle on the other hand is a completely different story.
