A forum, by it's very name, is a place for open discussion. It is not a place where one should have to put up with peurile adults and weekend drunks name calling. So we differ in our tastes, ideas and ideals, to discuss should be mind opening, to be abused for ones views is door closing. Too many faceless people hiding behind too many personae spouting too much abuse. It's no wonder people are leaving, they're growing up!

I'm a little confused by your post yman (as in bill?)

"we differ in our tastes, ideas and ideals"

being you and this forum?

So why be here at all if you don't mind my asking, especially living in the Netherlands as you say you do, you're like a red martian turning up to the green martian's annual convention surely?

"It's no wonder people are leaving, they're growing up."

This thread is 10 months old, so that's quite a conclusion to come to as a newcomer to these boards, or are you making a prediction as a result of your civilising influence upon these faceless keyboard warriors? ;-)

An online forum, by name, is a place of faceless people. People not agreeing with your opinions does not mean they are being abusive to you, however if there is abuse going on report that user to the management (see the "Report This Message" link under every message) and they will be dealt with appropriately.

I read somewhere that Edinburgh is doing this next year? Charges of this kind are becoming common around the world. I think it absolutely makes sense for Southwark and other boroughs are bound to follow.
