Edited title as the name is now common knowledge.

I think he was given a hard time on a few threads recently. Not surprising he was grumpy!

I've only met him the once but found him to be a nice man.

I'll miss his sense of humour. I'll also miss his presence on the football thread and competing against him in the predictor leagues.

I really hope you come back as someone else AM x

Don't fret Moonster, he'll be back. In the last few weeks he was falling out with all sorts of people over nothing. I think he's had the EDF equivalent of a breakdown, right now he's probably lining up all his tea cups on the window cill so they are just so. Nevermind, just think of all the fun of trying to spot his new reincarnation, number 4 at the last count...

I hadn't realised until the man himself pointed it out recently.

But you're still the man that didn't "get" Liverpool mad Annasfield's name, and that is still funny ;-)

And SJ was it you who was amazed the late great Ted Max lived on a certain road?

Back on subject of Alan. I've only met him a couple of times but he's a solid guy and I have a lot of time for him. Interesting life he's had and as ever, if real life takes a turn, the machinations of the forum can aggravate. As people have already said, I'm sure he will be back

Except too many feel that they have to have the last word, not wanting to be seen by the wider audience as 'losing face'...over to you Mick :)

    • Hello, I’ve got a 1980’s  one if you’re interested it works fine a bit old school
    • Another recommendation for Greg.  He provided excellent service - fast response, quote and then fitting the job in.  The inbuilt wardrobes he made are of a very high quality and he was a pleasure to work with.  Helped us with some additional shelving and a broken floorboard too.  Highly recommend!
    • I would also like to recommend Andy for plumbing. I had a leak under my kitchen tap and he was able to visit and resolve the issue in the same day. Prompt and efficient service and very professional.
    • It's about ensuring it's the medical facilities you are accessing, hence the sign-in actually in Tessa Jowell. And I think there are visual as well as camera checks, after all a number of people drive in and out of the car park to drop patients off. Clearly they are not parked up, so it's not relevant if they are fleetingly on camera. It's only those actually parked who need to identify themselves as patients.
