Yes for the love of God stop David Cameron from privatising everything and leaving the poor destitute...?????? or however many ? your tag has... Lower figures of unemployment are partly because of people going self employed, and not necessarily earning more than the unemployed due to economic instability and not many people spending....

You may think so, the lib dems may think so, but the vast majority of the electorate couldn't give a damn either way.

Louisa.

Well... Loosely speaking, a Vindaloo in one Indian restaurant is much the same as any other Indian restaurant.

Sometimes it's nice to have a change.

So the system works because the vast majority don't give a damn? Interesting view of democracy.

The system works because we wouldn't be here today in a stable democracy which has produced stable majority government for most of the last century. The fact there isn't appetite amongst the populus for electoral reform speaks volumes too. I can understand why it would upset supporters of a minor party, but I think that's a good price to pay for stable Government (most of the time).

Louisa.

I agree Louisa. Electoral reform is not the subject of the title.

I have a daughter at university ( 2012) intake and the first to have paid the increased fees.

According to her there are plenty of students voting, good for them. They are exercising their democratic right to vote for the first time in their lives.

Use your vote, don't complain about the consequences if you don't .

    • I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Yousef and his team for my recent house move in East Dulwich. Downsizing and relocating  my stuff from a house to a flat was made a calm and pleasant experience. The move included large and heavy items of furniture, taking items apart and reassembling in the new place, as well as loads of boxes. Nothing was too much trouble. I can thoroughly recommend this service, you will not be disappointed!
