Careful Louisa, it starts off with a drink...a curry...then another drink...then the little glint in the eye...the wink...the nod...then before you know it, he's offering to take you up the Khyber Pass*

That would be true if Louisawas funny

Now Aquarius Moon, you know more than anyone that the correct flounce procedure is:

1. Become embroiled emotionally in what is a tin pot local forum full of freaks. You crack.

2. Post a public proclamation as to your reasons...usually "I'm out...you lot are losers" etc etc

3. Ask admin to delete your account (you failed Lou)

3. Lurk in sulk mode for 1-3 months.

4. Return as someone else

5. Pretend you are not the person you were previously

The exceptions are the playful character swaps ala Seabag.

*Bob*, I've opened the window now does that help?

Red devil I'm happy being taken up the Khyber pass as long as they do the spicy chutney dip with their poppadoms.

The trouble is rah, I can deal with someone not liking me or finding me funny, that's fine. I'm more than happy to take it on the chin and agree to disagree. What I can't stand is a witch hunt, particularly when it's coming from a rather dull set of humourless posters who all gang together wanting to agree for the sake of it by saying how lovely the world is, and how one individual (me) is horrible- when in plain sight they are being obnoxious, trolling and doing the very things they accuse me of doing. Works both ways. It's boring to be honest, without colourful opinions this forum would be a very dull place. I've stated my position, I will not be referring back to previous topics, which we all agree have been done to death. But, I will not change my character and become some lifeless yes person. It's easy to pick out specific posts or threads to suit the consensus that Louisa is a horrible person, or unfunny or anything else derogatory. I could do the same for specific members of the forum too if I wanted, but I don't wish to take part in a witch hunt of anyone. I do not dislike anyone enough to do that.

Louisa.

6. fuck to it. (not aimed at mr ben but my previous post btw)

edit: PS welcome back Louisa, always loved your work.

Louisa- the thing is, the repetition of the same 'blow ins' thing over and over ad nauseum, doesn't (in my opinion) make the forum more interesting. It's not particularly funny or challenging. I'm all for people debating, arguing, outraging even, but not just endlessly repeating the same schtick. BTW- I have never (as I think I've said) found your posts offensive and I do quite find the references to sunbathing and being on the sauce all quite funny.

Admin has not divulged rah but I fear it may be permanent because a fair few people in ED general issues have supported my ban with follow up messages to admin what a nasty individual I am. As I say, witch hunt. I honestly believe a few people on Oakhurst Grove have seen me in the garden with my bottle and are monitoring my every movement post ban. I feel trapped within these four walls, awaiting my sentence. Mr Louisa refuses to be drawn on any of this but I do suspect he is somehow involved in this conspiracy.

I wasn't talking specifically in terms of Louisa.

Good post.

Agree that there is a lot of this. Say anything not entirely positive about something they like (even if it's something you also like but just have a minor gripe with), and you're accused of being constantly negative.

... To be fair, this did make me laugh.

    • This may be somewhat out of date but virtually no environmental benefit & almost entirely grass... really? https://www.gigl.org.uk/sinc/sobi09/ Description Peckham Rye was established as an open space in the late 19th century and includes several valuable habitat features spread across the park. The park is a Grade II Listed landscape, and has recently been restored with assistance from the Heritage Lottery Fund. A small community garden within the site is managed by the Friends of Peckham Rye. Peckham Rye Park won a Green Flag Award again for 2022. The site is used by the Southwark Health Walks project as part of a Walking the Way to Health (WHI) scheme. Wildlife This large park has several valuable habitat features. The most important of these is the only remaining above-ground section of the River Peck and the most natural stream in the borough. The stream is heavily shaded by native, unmanaged wet woodland dominated by alder, ash and pedunculated oak with a ground cover of pendulous sedge and bramble. Alder dominated woodland is a rare habitat in Southwark. Although somewhat altered with weirs, other artificial structures and ornamental planting, some sections are still in their natural banks and includes yellow flag, watercress, water figwort and cuckooflower. The largest of three ponds supports marginal vegetation including hemp agrimony. A variety of waterfowl nest on the wooded island, including tufted duck, coot, Canada goose and mallard. Substantial flocks of gulls visit the park in winter and bats are likely to forage over the water. Small blocks of predominantly native woodland, mostly on the boundary between the Park and the Common, are dominated by oak and ash with a well-developed understory, but sparse ground flora. Spring bulbs have been planted in previous years. These and several dense shrubberies support a good bird population and small numbers of pipistrelle bats are present. Infrequently mown grassland is located in one large area and was seeded in 2009. It's composition includes giant fescue, ladies bedstraw, meadowsweet, black knapweed and wild carrot. The rest of the park consists of amenity grassland with some fine mature trees.
    • Same here. Incredibly selfish behaviour. Also illegal.
    • I heard them & our two dogs were extremely upset by it..  bad enough during the evenings but at least can have music on to dilute the noise!   Some people have literally zero thoughts for others!!
    • I have signed that petition.  Someone was letting off loud fireworks at about 3 am this morning. They woke me up.   I don’t know where they were exactly but it sounded like they were in the vicinity of Dog Kennel Hill.
