I'm not sure that would be expected of an MP on a ?65k salary, though, Louisiana. And conversely, the idea of 'buying outfits' at all would seem out-of-this-world to some people.

Isn't frugality just living within your means and looking for opportunities to save money?

Er, no - I just think that someone on a high salary like ?65k who doesn't buy outfits from charity shops or travels in taxis could still be considered frugal if she is living within her means. Actually, I don't at all see why clothing should be expensed at all, and I agree that somone who expenses his or her travel to the taxpayer should travel by public transport, especially in London.

I don't know what Planet Noggin is, but remind me when this debate became about me and my habits?

It?s not anything that Peter Oborne hasn?t said before through other media. Or anything that most thinking individuals haven?t worked out long ago.

It?s just a pity that this kind of commentary doesn?t make it onto the One Show so that the vast majority of people who still think that, ?Should I vote red or blue?? is actually a valid question, can?t hear it and realise that the real issue is that the entire system is fouled by corruption.

    • Similar deal to those Hive City guys who also camp outside of M&S, also a dodgy CIC rather than a charity
    • please report this to the police - were there any witnesses? She should face charges. the owner should not allow dogs off lead - I'm so sorry this has happened.  It would be good if you can identify her - are there cameras - in the cafes around? - follow her, find her address and report her. https://www.met.police.uk/advice/advice-and-information/ac/animal-crime/ also report to the park wardens so they can be found Your Local Council: Contact them to report issues in parks or public areas, especially if you know the dog or owner, as they investigate under local bylaws and the Dangerous Dogs Act. https://www.gov.uk/control-dog-public/report-a-dog
    • This is just dreadful.  Do you have this woman's contact details? These  are probably the last things on your mind at the moment while you are looking after your poor puppy, but firstly, the dog who attacked is  clearly both dangerous and out of control. Can it be reported to the police? Secondly, surely the owner is responsible for your vet bills? I do hope your puppy recovers quickly and so do you and your husband and children. It must have been really traumatic for all of you. Some people just shouldn't have dogs if they don't know how to train them.
    • Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I am writing to seek advice and recommendations regarding a dental matter. I need to have my dental implant (UR1) removed due to ongoing issues and discomfort. If anyone has experience with this procedure or knows of a skilled dental professional who specialises in implant removal, I would greatly appreciate your suggestions. Additionally, any insights on what to expect during the process would be extremely helpful. Thank you in advance for your assistance! Best regards, Nicole
