Jah the 15th is a weird Ole pay day.

I just give praise and thanks to the God of the 15th of the month payday, I prostrate myself before him knowing in his infinite wisdom he paid out standing orders and direct debits thereon.

So avoiding the weeping and gnashing of teeth that would have occured on the 16th and great would my overdraft have been.

Such that I would have rent my garment.

Oh, the rent, forgive me landlord I know not what you dun.

The Czech's in the post.

Just spotted this one. Even I'm not sure what I was on about.

However, taking into account it was pay day, I had the day off and the time of the post, perfectly understandable.

Or not.

    • Crofton Park (borough of Lewisham) has a community notice board which as well as listing councillors is full of notices about local community activities of all sorts and for all ages. It is clean and tidy and only has one small fly poster (attached with one very small piece of tape, and easily removed - I didn't though). Crofton Park also has a lovely little community garden alongside the station, full of flowers, with lots of things of interest to kids,  and also obviously lovingly maintained. I don't know who the land belongs to - possibly the station, though access is via the adjoining road. If Lewisham council/Crofton Park residents can maintain a community notice board, why can't Southwark Council/East Dulwich residents?
