Thanks Citizen. I couldn't make the drinks as I was busy destroying huguenot and all his old pals at his stag do.

But we got 8 of us down to wembley in the end (a couple of no-shows sadly) and it was a fantastic experience, brilliant turnout from both sets of fans. I'm actually a Letchworth boy but as we had no real team it was always Broadhall Way for us.

Great game too, though I suspect Huguenot's still sulking just a tiny bit.

(not as much a Neil Warnock though, ho ho "What goes around comes around and maybe Chelsea will win the FA Cup and AC Milan the Champions League." Silly man.)

Oh, the cost of those huge Irish weddings. I have just been talking to a colleague about the hugeness of the whole thing.

The sandwiches and tea at 3 am are a particularly good touch to keep you going.

Of course the non-Irish contingent will need to be instructed to learn a song.

But you knew that already.

Oh indeedy!

:))

Happiest Yoda in the world I am!

La Preghiera was apparently the 5th best place to get married in the world, according to last year's Independent. As DM would say, Tuscany is so last year

Magical day is 9th June. Honeymoon in SA. Got to buy a bloody impressive wildlife lens for the camera as special treat. Mockers, which one should I get?

Harrumph. No dancing emoticon. :))

    • It should be easy enough to point out to anyone even thinking of voting reform that should they take power they will have no impact. And will make things worse.  And if people think politicians break promises now and reform are a breath of fresh air then they ain’t seen nothing yet  but they won’t really care about immigration if reform do win  uk used to be about law and order and now we have dim talking heads everywhere unchallenged going “leave the ECHR, stuff the judges, just do it!!”   like life is that simple sweeties
    • I have been reliably informed that it's not the same group.
    • my bet is it's the same group and no amount of talking to is going to make a difference.
    • Definitely not intended  to come across as "gleeful". Quite the opposite, because developments such as this will only encourage extreme right-wingers such as Reform. And heaven help us if they ever formed a government. It's incumbent on Labour to come up with an effective  policy to "smash the gangs" otherwise we are facing Farage and his gang further down the road.
