Mark
I expect they were trying to get in. And I expect there may have been a criminal in there they were trying to get to. SCSB79
whoa - that is the funniest reply I've ever read on here. Are you a stand up comedian? You should be if you aren't, totally wasted in your line of work. Mark
ahh yes anna good point, or they have may have kicked in the wrong door in which case there would be no criminal in there (suspected or not). themaninblack
Just wondering where it was as I have an interest in several properties up towards the grass bank in front of the Ladlands estate. Not nice to read when it could be one of your properties and you would potentially never find out about it! There could be a criminal (suspected or not) behind any wrong door. SimonM
Dunstans Road is now a cul-de-sac....My favourite ED riddle: why does Dunstans Road not have an apostrophe whereas Dunstan's Grove does? (Yes, I really am this sad) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6643-dunstans-road-police/#findComment-213112 Share on other sites
Moos
Ady's Road sometimes has an apostrophe and sometimes not. The reason is that the sign-writing people don't like them, so they are being gradually taken away. Dunstan's Grove probably has an older sign. SimonM
Well clearly the sign-writing people are uncivilised language vandals and should be put up against a wall and shot! Muley
Word is that a bunch of stolen apostrophes were being stashed in a gaff in Dunstans Road and police were acting on a tip off from a highly placed source:www.apostrophe.org.uk Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6643-dunstans-road-police/#findComment-213127 Share on other sites
