Moos
Yes! Apparently they were after some criminals. That's what I heard, anyway. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6644-lordship-lane-police/#findComment-212983 Share on other sites

lenk
I was walking through Clerkenwell earlier and I saw some police as well - what on earth is going on?This kind of thing makes me petrified to live in ED, and is just another example of our descent into lawless barbarianism. ratty
There is actually a ton of rozzers outside my office in Lewisham as I type because, sadly, it looks like we have had a fatal car crash in the road! :( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6644-lordship-lane-police/#findComment-213015 Share on other sites
Domitianus
I understand it was a false alarm but the word on the street is that it could all happen again. I hardly dare leave home! HonaloochieB
You should be working in Brixton then you'd know what the edge really is, and no it's not the green bush outside your 'ouse. There's this building near where work that has police going in and out of it all the time, day and night. The place must be an absolute hotbed of criminality.Torture, it's the only language they understand. Moos
Apparently they speak funny and wear odd clothes! Ugh, how distasteful. Some people are just so stupid, aren't they? I think many of them deserve to be poor, not that I'd wish to be uncharitable, I give to the Lifeboats. I work very hard for my money, and don't speak strangely or associate with 'characters' as you might call them. People should be more like me, then I would be able to respect and understand them. HonaloochieB
The way things are going we'll all be murdered in each other's beds. That'll teach us and them.I agree with *Bob*, STRING THE BLEEDERS UP, only do it before they have a chance to commit any crimes. It's the only humane and cost effective way. Michael Palaeologus
Why on why on why has public flogging on Goose Green been done away with? Its madness and a sign of the times.Clearly the wrong 'uns and ne'er-do-wells that prey upon us need to be shown a lesson.Perhaps we should send them to Australia again? Most of Australia seems to live here anyway, drinking our beer and impressing our women with their digereedoos and wotnot. Its the fault of the foreigners. All of it.
