So, is there lots of crime? Apparently Peckham is quite close by? Or do I mean Wandsworth? We're looking in Shepherd's Bush too so I get confused.

The nearest tube is Old Street, weirdly enough.

Simply catch a 78 bus from the Rye to Shoreditch, and you will be presented with London's famous 'Northern Line' at your complete disposal!

You'll love it here, we have Barry Road which was named after the station manager Barry Jones. Every year in celebration of his sainthood people raise a toast to him then run all the way down the road and raise another toast to him at the finish line.

Don't worry about Peckham, we don't allow anyone from there into ED, we identify them from the 'Peckham stoop' and furtive mien (if mien is the word I'm looking for).

Wandsworth is not the way to go, it's got no identity of its own and most people call it 'Not Clapham'.

Shepherd's Bush is a good idea though as you'll be nice and close to the Empire if Ian Hunter decides to play there again as he did in Octber 2007.

Some very dodgy people live down Barry Road. To be avoided in my opinion; an opinion which is only one of many I can tell you.

It used to be a great place full of 'diamond geezers' - I remember it well, like it was only yesterday - :)-D , and a 'bustling' fruit /veg market and vibrant 'high' street. Then lots of 'middle class whites' moved in and the demand 'for' fruit and veg declined - (as these things tend to do) - (or so my Thai ladyboy friend who is staying with me at the moment tells me) ::o

Lots of police around at the moment, crime is definitely on the up probably due to 'out of towners' from neighbouring yet deprived Peck'narm and Nunhead (also known as Gunhead by the 'boy yoot man dem') crossing the 'border' and coming into our 'endz' to 'commit' ferocious 'acts' of 'crime'.:-S
