I just got accosted by a rude mother whilst getting off my bus, I has my headphones on & saw her looking at me, next thing, she shoved her bags in my arms & ordered me to help her carry the baby buggy off the bus..Next thing, she's telling me to follow her, i pointed out that i was going in the other direction & she just dismissed it with a wave of her hand then she basically ordered me to carry the buggy up some stairs, i was in such shock at her rudeness that i actually did it, then she wanted me to help her inside the house, i finally said no & bailed - she didn't even say thank you. :(

oh man I wish that was me

I know how disorientating it can be when you are in an earphone-bubble, but whilst I help people with buggies all the time, someone behaving like that? On a Friday night... oh yes please...

I bet she spends a lot of time giving out about society getting worse as well

No.......a message saying that you've also got a box of matches that will be coming into contact with the accelerant if you don't get your act together and treat people that have helped you with the respect they deserve........I'll admit though that BBQing them is a bit extreme.

As a fiction writer I think you could improve!

I'm thinking Daizie. Is anyone else thinking Daizie?

No, I assumed that Daizie had never bred.

Not for any particular reason, but I get the impression that she doesn't go in so much for that sort of thing.

Daizie, if you do have children, I apologise profusely, declare you, with absolutely no evidence a Vanessa Phelps Show-style 'great mum' and will get the Daizlets a little something from Soup Dragon.

Cheers.

The story seems less remarkable when it becomes apparent that this was in fact Andy's wife.

Argh gross, i have got some taste, I reckon she'd one day become a mother in law from hell, in fact that is a very good description of her. At least i got a laugh from some people on the bus.

    • It has been very dry maybe that affects trees and their roots /  the recent works repairing the bridge could contribute.
    • If you want to talk about tax you have to contextualise it - this is not a highly taxed country but it is a country that needs money - so what do you propose?   if you dk t want to live under a left wing govt that’s your choice but how do we get from left wing govt to Russia?   you make no sense
    • Nope, not "complaining or moaning", stating an opinion. Tax - yes we are taxed to the hilt, the threshold is £12570, Govts not increasing this means more and more people get dragged into paying tax. HMRC are a joke, even if you're below that figure they take tax that has to be claimed back as its wrongly deducted.  Inflation is supposedly dropping, the reality in the shops is the total opposite, week on week almost, prices increase, utilities increase etc. I don't want to live under a left wing govt, if you do, suggest you try living in Russia.
