hey guys,

just saw, Ant, that you are looking for Alexander Technique?? Fiona Bryan (m: 07790 519777) has been teaching this for many years, and you can book her at dulwich therapy rooms, if you like supporting some local ED therapists...:) she has really sorted out my back together with Dan Bevan (he's given me great pain relief with acupuncture and he helped me induce my baby when i was threatened with a hospital induction!!!!) his mob. is 07867 975944. (Keep it a secret!, he's good! ...no, great!) And dear east dulwich people, don't let anyone get you down about the 'big guys' moving in. the ones who are great at what they do will always be there still, because people will support them. so, i just thought i'd let you know who is great...:))

The new ES Physical Health on Lordship Lane sounds wonderful & exciting!! If you?ve ever suffered a back & knee injury like myself at work, you know you would want to turn to a highly professional team of physiotherapists. Who focus on a well planned rehabilitation programme using various treatments on assisting you to attain your goal on returning you back to a highly active life-style.

I can't wait to try out there new gym, Pilates, tai chi etc all under one roof! I wish them all good luck and success with their new adventure?.

At least the Es physical health team or local people and have not just landed on our door step from America. Why does it matter if they are a small or big business as long as they can provide a professional service to us all. Just remember it's your own choice were you choose to see a physiotherapist or attend a gym. Give them a chance! You never know you may need them one day.. Try them out, once they open....... I'm sure they will gets lots of positive feedback

The speed of building work is snail like usual in ed mainly because the builder's have work out that they can get away with it. Any delay to the opening of yet another place to have therapy is not a great shame already having so many, above the suop dragon , the therapy rooms at healthmatters, therapy in melbourne grove , push studios, fusion, hamlet, sanghara, beauty place , janis endricson, the dulwich medical practice and the vale to name but a few. Also JAGs and forgot osteopaths on barry rd frien rd and chiro on crystal palace road. Most are very qualified some even university lecturers in their fields.

I personally think that we should start an experiment seeing how many therapists we could hit with one stone out of twenty people expect 8 therapist 4 actors and couple of muso's and the odd comic. Originality and humility in new developments projects would be a great change

    • I know the couple you mean, and she has always been friendly and smiley when delivering to me, but obviously in a hurry, for all the reasons outlined in the thread. My gate is always open, however (unless someone coming to the house closes it when they leave). I can't see the point of gates that have to be opened and shut again every time someone comes to the house. It just seems a waste of time, and it's annoying if you are carrying stuff. And a closed gate  conveys a sort of "my house is my fortress" feel. To me, anyway.
    • Thanks for posting this. Really interesting. It would be good if you added a star rating, so that it was easier to do comparisons / see what your top recommendations are. Great blog though!
    • Hi, Just a quick note to say it's six months since I launched Eats Dulwich. In that time I've reviewed 28 restaurants. Usually four or five a month except for a month when I came down with gout, which I guess is an occupational hazard. Don't say I don't suffer for my art. Early on someone – Sue, I think – asked me what I'm going to do when I've reviewed every restaurant in East Dulwich. I'm nowhere near that point, but what I have found is that a lot of new openings have tended to be in Rye Lane, so the site has expanded to cover SE15, hence the slight change of name (still haven't had any cease and desist letters from anything with a similar name).  Anyway, the site is still free, it would be great if as many readers as possible here can subscribe so that they automatically get new posts (when you try to subscribe the default might be paid subs but that's down to Substack, just tick the free option instead) as I don't post everything on EDF. Obviously you can get reviews elsewhere if you want, but I think this is the only proper site for local East Dulwich people written by a local East Dulwich person. If you like eating out please have a read. And if there are other places you think I should visit please mention them below and i'll do my best to try them. • Can you explain what your point was, then? Because it isn't clear to me. No. Perhaps you could provide a link and explain its relevance? That would be helpful     Those figures suggest that over 10,000,000 voters were not "rejecting a far left party."
